did not diagnose a problem until after three consecutive engine light was on--needed to get smog release--took three days and three separate visits to get to the bottom of the reason--I missed two classes at engine light was on--needed to get smog release--took three days and three separate visits to get to the bottom of the reason--I missed two classes at SRJC and spent 9 hours waiting for answers. Finally came to conclusion the cost was too dear for a 20 year old car and donated it. Too much time and lack of a deep dive the first time to solve the problem equals lack of quality and talent in the servicing department---not a good omen for any future thoughts to buying another Honda --- Bill Petty tried to help, but it was too late for our situation --he was extremely helpful though, but I can;t say anything good about the guys in the service area who had the car to diagnose in the first place ! More

For longer appointments, the free loaner car service is especially convenient, and I always feel like I'm treated with respect and honesty. More

Expect a Long Wait I scheduled a standard oil change for my vehicle and was given an appointment for the following day. This is after I tried to schedule pick up, but wa I scheduled a standard oil change for my vehicle and was given an appointment for the following day. This is after I tried to schedule pick up, but was told I would need to schedule it at least 3 days in advance. Not a big deal, but there is no mention of that that I can see on the website. The website, by the way, is definitely NOT user friendly. I tried to schedule using the email they sent but it would not process, so I visited the Manly site. To have to set up an account and jump through all kinds of hoops, so I opted to used the virtual help. Notably did that take a long time but the person was not very knowledgeable. After asking my name for the third time in a nearly 20 minute text exchange, I lost faith that they would schedule things properly and finally just called in to the dealership myself. so, back to the scheduled appointment...I arrived within 5 minutes of my appointment and was told to be seated and someone would meet with me in a moment. I’m 8 months pregnant with a 2 year old in tow, so an appointment is key for me. I go to sit down and thankfully I had plenty of snacks because I waited and waited and no one came over to see me. I asked the people around me and one lady said she’d been waiting for 2 hours for her windshield and the guy to my right had a good hour in for an oil change that he’d also made an appointment for. Another guy said they told him they were delayed because they had to wash some cars. I went to check with the front desk and she was confused because the person that should’ve spoken to me within 10 minutes of my being there had still not shown up and she couldn’t locate him. She told me she would get someone and I went back to my seat. An hour passed and finally someone came to see me it took another 45 minutes for them to change my oil and get my car back to me. I ended spending 2.5 hours there for something that should’ve taken less than one. Oh, and when I went up to confirm the service Inwanted, they were going to charge me $50 more. I told the person that’s not the what the coupon o received in my email said and he told me, “Well, first, you didn’t tell me you had a coupon.” Perhaps that’s because we hadn’t spoken until just that moment? All in all, I felt very upset and just confused about the whole visit. There was no apology for the lengthy delay or even an explanation. Why make an appointment? I like going to the dealership to get serviced for these things but for the same price and 2 hours less I can go somewhere else. More
