The service was great. What a thoughtful way to include the customer. I really appreciated this. It meant a lot. Also I had mentioned that I wanted a different vehicle and I was provided an estimate for my vehicle if I was to trade my car in. I appreciated this and unfortunately my husband wanted to wait on doing a trade in but all the help and information was great. The service when I arrived was great above and beyond. Dani was a great help and so was the young man at the parts counter as well as Adrian who did the service on my car. I wish I could remember the name of the woman who put together the estimate for trade in for me but she was great as well. Thank you so much from a customer who appreciates how great the service department team did and who goes above and beyond. I hope that Honda appreciates their employees and what a great job they do by letting them know verbally and financially. Great all around. Thank you. I took my Honda to Manly Honda to have the transmission fluid changed. Prior to taking my car in I called for the cost of the service. When I arrived the service advisor's price was $40 higher than what I fluid changed. Prior to taking my car in I called for the cost of the service. When I arrived the service advisor's price was $40 higher than what I was quoted on the phone. The service advisor did lower to the quoted price after I questioned his quote. After Manly completed the service I drove home and checked the transmission fluid level and it was barely registering at the very end of the dip stick. I called the service advisor and he told me it was ok to drive the vehicle back to the dealership. I spoke with the service manager and showed him a photo I had taken of the fluid level on the dip stick. He estimated it was about 2 quarts low and that he would not have recommended me driving the vehicle at that low level. I noticed on my invoice they included a part listed as “Shyft”. I asked what the part is and the service manager said it was an additive. I asked if it was made by, or approved by Honda. He replied, “no”. I was very upset that Manly added a non approved substance to my transmission, especially since they didn’t ask me if I wanted it. I told the service manager that I didn't want the additive in my transmission and he asked the service advisor to have the transmission flushed and to put only the Honda transmission fluid in. As I was waiting for the transmission to be flushed and the fluid replaced I had the opportunity to speak with the general manager, Jeff Dantzler. Mr. Dantzler was very receptive to hearing my complaints about the service that I received and showed great concern about my perception of the service department. Mr. Dantzler spent a great deal of time talking with me and showed a lot of character and compassion. I received a follow up phone call from Mr. Dantzler a week after the service. Once again, Mr. Dantzler went out of his way and spent a great deal of time conversing on the phone to make sure I felt well taken care of. If it was not for the service manager, Zach Roberts and Mr. Dantzler doing what was necessary to make things right, I would have given a one star rating. Mr. Dantzler and Mr Roberts get 5 stars. With a 3 star average for the total experience. Mistakes will happen, it is the actions taken to correct the mistake that speaks loudest. More

What made my experience great was Jay Emery's customer service. He was amazing!!! From the time I walked in, he acknowledged my presence, which not all of the customer service representatives do.
