I've looked at cars on your lot before, with very I've looked at cars on your lot before, with very nice salesmen. I wish I had gone with one of them. I was given Dan, who I emailed with, prior I've looked at cars on your lot before, with very nice salesmen. I wish I had gone with one of them. I was given Dan, who I emailed with, prior to my appt. I questioned his knowledge of my car when he spelled Insight wrong. Thinking it was just a typing error, I asked him in person how to spell the name of the car, and again he spelled it wrong. This may seem petty, but if you don't know the simple spelling of your product, how much wrong info was going to be given out. Dan was friendly at first, but then would became short with me. He was irritated when I asked to look at the car in white. I realize I had asked for it in blue, but that should not be a reason to get irritated with the customer. My boyfriend and I took the new 2021 Insight for a test drive, and found 3 french fries between the seats in the cup holder. I told him about this and he waved it off. No apology. "It'll be detailed". After signing papers with Dan, we were told we could go home, and he would have Mr Dang call while the car was detailed. When Mr Dang called, 3 hours later, he was surprised we had left as Dan had not told him. I was not surprised. On the drive off the lot, the fries were still there. Dan was out on the lot, I stopped him, told him I had something for him and gave him the fries. Said the detailing wasn't very good. Again, he shrugged this off. I returned next day to cancel extra warranty on my car and have it cleaned again. I didn't call Dan as I didn't want to deal with him. After detail was done, Dan came around the corner, angry I hadn't contacted him first. He then said he had gotten in trouble with his manager for one of the discounts on the car, glared at me, and waited for a response. I suppose he expected an apology. I felt him to be very unprofessional. He says this is a part time job for him. I feel he should stay with his bartending job. I had a totally different experience a few days later when I stopped in for a review on the workings of the dashboard. Abraham showed me how to work the radio, the computer system, how to get the most mileage. He was superb. He was patient and explained things thoroughly. He didn't just rely on telling me to look at YouTube videos, like Dan did. At one point, a family pulled up in the lot, and took some time to gather themselves and a baby stroller. Abraham noticed them, called inside for a salesman (I believe it was his sister) to come immediately to attend to the family. They had been in the lot too long without acknowledgement from the inside crew, about 3 min. This was not acceptable to him and it was impressive how quickly he jumped on it. When I told him about the french fries, he was appropriately appalled and apologized. Abraham was wonderful. Extemely attentive and professional. You should hire more people like him. He takes his job seriously and is truly concerned with Honda's reputation. More
