Ali Shimi- Excellent for 2 car purchases in 5 months! I have worked with Ali Shimi to purchase two Honda's in the past 5 months and he has been excellent both times. I purchased a new 2014 Honda CRV first I have worked with Ali Shimi to purchase two Honda's in the past 5 months and he has been excellent both times. I purchased a new 2014 Honda CRV first and found Ali to be helpful, knowledgeable and patient. He worked hard to get me the best deal possible and at the end of the sale, went the extra mile to get the Bluetooth connected with my cell phone. I had such a positive experience the first time around, that 5 months later, I returned to Ali Shimi to purchase a used 2012 Honda Civic for my oldest son. In this second sale, Ali really helped negotiate a price for the Honda Civic that was beyond fair. Ali and Gary Silva (the Used Car Manager) both value customer loyalty and went out of their way to to make sure Manly Honda stood by me as a repeat customer. After the sale was complete, I brought my son to the Manly dealership so that Ali could show him the features on the Honda Civic. Ali answered all of my son's questions as All is so knowledgeable about Honda's and made my son feel special about getting his first nice car. After both of these purchases with Ali, I can say that he values his customers and works to figure out exactly what they want, what they can afford and tries to put together the best deal possible to meet these requirements. My favorite part of working with Ali overall is how respectful he is as a person, and how respectfully he treated me and my family members throughout both purchases. When the time comes for my next son to need a car, I will definitely be back to Ali Shimi at Manly Honda to purchase another Honda. More
Caution with Extended Warranty and NGV Phill Unit - horrible I bought a Natural Gas Vehicle at Manly and liked the car, I religiously had the car serviced there and liked a few of the service dept guys (some wer I bought a Natural Gas Vehicle at Manly and liked the car, I religiously had the car serviced there and liked a few of the service dept guys (some were real rude). I encountered 2 big problems with Manly so will NEVER do business with them again and recommend others don't. I had purchased the Phill Unit to fill the car at home and also the Extended Warranty. Problem 1) The Phill company went bankrupt (although through research I found it was a subsidiary of Honda- they weren't supporting the Phill unit company for a new car they were selling) so when I needed it repaired it was a nightmare. Took the new company 9 months (and many calls) to even come check it and by then it had died and they could not diagnose it. They told me they would have to send this 2 year old over $3,000 unit by boat to Italy and it could cost me between $2,000 to 2,500 to fix it and it would take like 6 more months coming back by boat. I attempted to get some help from Manly but they washed their hands of it. Why throw good money after bad...the machine sits in my garage. 2) Extended Warranty - don't waste your money. It's sold as being refundable if not used. When it expired I called to file a request for reimbursement of $1895 policy not used. People did not return my calls, I kept pressuring and got the run around and was even lied to. At that point I did stop having my car serviced at Manly and have had excellent servicing at Dave's on Hwy 12 in Sonoma. Last week I tried again and called Manly and Honda Care. Honda Care rep. even said Manly will not return your calls and it's typical they will try to get out of giving refunds. It took at least a week but I was really shocked when a guy named Stuart called. His response? I'm sorry but you had to claim your refund in 90 days - it's too late now. I explained I had tried several times near exp date and no one mentioned the 90 days nor can I find it on all paperwork I have regarding the Warranty...did not matter to Stuart, he just couldn't think of any way to help me. I really don't like dishonest, untrustworthy folks in my life so I'm done with Manly Honda. More

I didnt feel any pressure the whole time and more importantly he listened to my needs and delivered. He even reserved the car for almost a week until i got back from vacation even when he could have sold it for more then i was offering. Part of me honestly expected the car to be sold when i got back, But Tom stuck to his word the whole time. The dealership even replaced the tires and breaks on the used honda we purchased and was upfront about any and all repairs. Over all best experience I've had buying a car from a dealer. More

I started exchanging emails with Mark Fladseth, the internet sales manager, for a quote on an Accord Sport. From the beginning, Mark gave me the lowest quote out of all the local dealerships. Several days later, I changed my mind and wanted an Accord EX-L V6 instead. I wanted a silver with black interior. Luckily, they didn't have the black interior model in stock. Mark wasn't able to locate one for me. Mark told me they have the silver with black Touring model. I did my research and decided that I wanted the Touring model. We agreed on a price I was comfortable with after several emails. This price was a lot lower than quotes I have received from the same local dealerships. I showed up at Manly and was greeted by Mark. We went on a test drive and I was in love with this car. We returned to the internet sales part of the dealership and started on the paperwork. I then have the pleasure of meeting Martin Stansbury, the finance manager. Martin and I were having a good old time talking about things that have nothing to do with buying this car. Martin then talked about the extended warranty and special packages that I declined. Martin did not waste one second trying to talk me into purchasing it. I wished I had purchased my wife's Odyssey from Manly Honda. I will recommend this dealership to all my friends. I want to thank Mark and Martin for a STRESS FREE purchase. More

Jan's sales review My wife and I were shopping for a new 2014. We eventually gravitated towards a Honda Accord so decided to visit the Manly Dealership in Santa Rosa, CA My wife and I were shopping for a new 2014. We eventually gravitated towards a Honda Accord so decided to visit the Manly Dealership in Santa Rosa, CA. Jan was the first sales person that approached us as we parked our car. we described what we were looking and Jan showed us several Accords. He explained what each label was for each model. Jan also described the card feature differences between each model and their prices. As we were looking for a car with a price up to $25000 on the road we settled on the LX model. The one we chose was a champagne color which looked very elegant. Jan showed as the interior of the cars, the engine compartment and the trunk area. He even joked by saying Honda comes with the floor mats as compared to other brands. During the test drive Jan explained the workings of the interior and answered our questions professionally and with strong knowledge of the product Jan was selling. Finally, when we were ready to leave with our new car, Jan asked us to sit inside and gave us a thorough explanation of all the knobs, screens and how to navigate from one to another. We will gladly recommend Jan as a sales person to potential buyers. George and Capi. More

They all stayed well past closing time so that we could finish the deal. Martin and Patricia went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of from beginning to end. And when all was said and done and my husband and I were trying to figure out the Bluetooth, Patricia stopped and gave us a quick tutorial and programmed my phone for me. Martin handled the car being detailed and got me a loaner car, making sure to ask if it was big enough for me and the kids. Overall, they were just wonderful and when it's time to buy a new car again, you can be sure we will be asking for them! Thank you Martin & Patricia!!!!! More
