While visiting the dealership to have a previous vehicle serviced, we met and talked with Justin. We were interested in looking into buying a 2009 VW Jetta TDI sedan. The cars were not available as yet an serviced, we met and talked with Justin. We were interested in looking into buying a 2009 VW Jetta TDI sedan. The cars were not available as yet and we agreed to remain in contact from time to time with Justin. We specified just what we wanted in terms of color, equipment, etc., and when they became available Justin located just the car we wanted. When the time came to pick up the new Jetta, it was sitting in the show room all ready to go. We were taken care of by Justin and several others of the dealer staff and all questions were answered, features carefully explained, etc. It was a very positive experience. Since we have owned the car, during visits to the dealership, we usually talk with Justin and he inquires about the car and whether we are continuing to be happy with it. Since we live seventy miles distant from the dealership, and we normally wait while work is done, Justin always asks if he can give us a ride to somewhere for lunch, shopping, etc. I have recommended Justin to several people who have inquired about where we bought our Jetta. Whether they have followed up on those suggestions, I do not know. I would continue to recommend him to others in future and at such time as we would consider buying another car, I would go to Justin. As for my general opinion of Mankato Motors I am very pleased with the quality of service work, diligence and friendliness of the service staff, espcially Service Advisor Sandy Kranz. She has been very cooperative in scheduling, attending to details and making sure that we are satisfied with the work. Mankato Motors is a very highly rated dealership, in my opinion. More

Mike was extremely helpful in finding the vehicle that I wanted. Although I had to wait a little longer than I would have hoped he kept me updated every step of the way. Then I went to Mankato Motors, and what a relief! I met Nick Dunbar (amanzingly helpful and knowledgeable), and he sat down with me and actually went through all of my wants and needs for a new vehicle not pushing me into something I wasn't interested in. Everyone at Mankato Motors was very helpful and really "knew their stuff". They were also very personable and friendly. I finally decided on what I wanted and when they did not have it at the dealership, they found it for me and brought it to the dealership for me. I recently went back to them to trade in my 2010 Nissan Altima Coupe for a 2011 Nissan Rogue and was once again extremely pleased with all the help and information they were able to give me. Everytime I go back their, they always know me by name, and make sure that I am happy with my vehicle. I will never go to any other dealership than Mankato Motors and look forward to working with them more in the future! More

NEW CAR - I tried a lot of SUV's in Mankato dealerships. I went to every lot and looked into every make....drove them all,used and new. What most impressed me was the Nissan Rouge. But what impressed me m I went to every lot and looked into every make....drove them all,used and new. What most impressed me was the Nissan Rouge. But what impressed me more was that every time I drove another car I would head beack to Mankato Motors and talk to Mike Bidwell who would hand me the keys to a Rouge to compare it to what I had just driven from another car dealership. I must have done this 8 or more times and he always had the time to get me keys for a test drive. He is the best sales person I have ever worked with by far. Professional, no hard sell or pressure, extremly knowlergable, and friendly. After I decided to buy a Rouge they didn't have the color I wanted and within an hour he had found one at another Nissan dealership. After buying my new car I had a rear windshield wiper drop off. I took it in and they said they would replace it as soon as they could get the part in........After they told Mike this he went over to one of the show room cars and returned a minute later with the blade I needed. Now thats service!!! And just today I took my car in and he happily washed it in the dealers car wash for free while I sat with a free pop and popcorn waiting. I don't know what else you could ask for in a dealership and sales person. I give Mike Bidwell a 10 star rating out of 5 stars :-) More
