On our second visit we came to an agreement on the purchase of a 2014 Silverado. Joe explained all the features and found a couple of additional rebates that we qualified for. We bought our truck on a Saturday and picked it up the following Monday. Everything was just as we had discussed with additional options. After 23 years working with the same dealer we switched to Mankato motors. We attribute this to Joe. He is honest and will take the time to answer questions and is knowledgeable of the features on the vehicle. He will definitely get an opportunity when we trade our car. More

We live approx 90 minutes from Mankato so I sent them an email regarding our interest in the Edge. Our to-be sales associate Cary Rentschler replied very shortly via email and acknowledged our interest in the car. We couldn't get a chance to test drive til the following week and Cary kept us informed of the availability of the car over the weekend. He asked if we needed financing or trade in. Told Cary we would be trading in our Honda. As we arrived the following Monday, Cary spotted us right away. He and his staff did a great job of informing us about the vehicles past history and car fax. Buying a car can be a bit stressful but Cary and his staff take stress and pressure off the table. Not only are they good at what they do but provide what I like to call Neighborly service. Kind, welcoming, no pressure. I bought a 2002 Volkswagen Passat with 40,000 miles for $8300 after tax/title/license. I am a recent college grad and this was my first experience buying a car. I chose this dealership because my parents had purchased a 2013 Nissan Rogue from this dealer a week earlier. We both bought from Gary. Gary is nice and goes the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase and have his contact information for any future needs. Mankato Motor Co claims to be a "bottom dollar dealer," but I paid about $700 (sticker price) more than what the vehicle was listed on NADA and KBB. Gary wasn't willing to negotiate the price. The service department employees were friendly and serviced the car to my needs before I took it off the lot. They even offer free car washes for life for all vehicles purchased at MMC. Although I feel I slightly overpaid, I am satisfied with my purchase and enjoy the car every time I take it out. I would recommend Mankato Motor Company for your vehicle purchase. More
