The repairs to my Chevy 1500 Silverado has taken an excessive time because of a damaged part shipped to dealership. I dropped my truck off October 23 with a done date for repairs of November 9. Because of the delays it was promised that a vehicle would be made available for my use if my truck was not done and ready for my trip starting on November 15. No vehicle was available for my use. We were caught short on time for preparing for the trip because we were not kept abreast of was happening in the repair shop. I had to drive out to the dealership about 5 times to get updates. The last was the day before our trip was to start. So my wife (who is handicapped and needs a wheelchair to get around) and myself had to cram into our 2 door Civic to make the trip. More
