The sales managers and directors of this dealership are not only deceptive in all their dealings but misleading, dishonest and misrepresenting this dealership and the name of JOHN ELWAY attached to it and d not only deceptive in all their dealings but misleading, dishonest and misrepresenting this dealership and the name of JOHN ELWAY attached to it and doing harm to the TOYOTA brand in general. The ownership must take a serious look and investigate this matter because a lawsuit is waiting to happen in the near future for all of the above mentioned. My whole expericence was full of deception and lies just to lure me in to the dealership after agreeing to the price of the vehicle and then telling my that it would cost an additional $1900 because the internet manager had conviently made a mistake. Beware of the lying "managers"! They agreed to take of $700 of the asking price and while I was signing papers, I noticed it wasn't there and was the original price. When confronted, they said they coul $700 of the asking price and while I was signing papers, I noticed it wasn't there and was the original price. When confronted, they said they couldn't do the deal but neglected to tell me--this is AFTER they agreed to it. I walked--and got the deal. Also, the Finance guy lied and said my Credit Union had higher rates then they, that I couldn't refinance for 9 months and that the salesman was wrong that I could finance through myt credit union. ALL LIES. I refianced the following week and went from 7.25% to 4.25%. Watch them like a hawk. More
I had a small leak of radiator fluid in a newer car with very low miles. I brought it to Manhattan Beach Toyota even though the other reviews advised me against it. I thought that I would be the exception very low miles. I brought it to Manhattan Beach Toyota even though the other reviews advised me against it. I thought that I would be the exception. That is far from the truth! They charged me $90 for the diagnosis and told me that i needed a new radiator hose and inverter coolant pump for the hybrid system. They wanted $850 for the repair. I declined the repair and purchased the parts for $135. I wanted to do it myself. After researching how to repair it I found a service bulletin stating that this part is an extended warranty. At this point I figured I would see if Marina Del Rey would warranty the part before I attempted the fix myself. Without doing a full diagnosis of the problem, Marina said they wouldn't warranty it because the car had been in an accident but they said they could to the same repair as Manhattan Beach Toyota for $460, that is almost $400 less!! I decided to do it myself. After taking the front light out and partially removing the front bumper, I was able to realize the hose had a small hole in it. The pump was in perfect condition. I replace the hose and put new fluid in. The hose was an $8 part!! Manhattan Beach Toyota tried to rip me off. They were going to charge me $860 to replace a hose. Their Service Director, Darron Guy (loser) is a real piece of work. He said he wouldn't refund my diagnosis charge (they misdiagnosed it) because it would come out of his pay. Great customer service over there. A bunch of real Losers. At this point More

We went to the dealer and won a vacation for 2 through Toyota Manhattan dealer which KRN Enterprises will provide the the accommodations fo Tundras. We went to the dealer and won a vacation for 2 through Toyota Manhattan dealer which KRN Enterprises will provide the the accommodations for the vacation package. As of today I haven't recieved any additional information on the vacation package from KRN Enterprises and/or Toyota Manhattan. I have called Toyota Manhattan Dealer plenty of times. I have left messages with numerous of employees and not once have they provided me with helfull information and or returned my phone calls. Not only did they lie on the vacation package but they got us to buy a new toyota tundra. I would have to say by this experience they need to work on their cusomer service. We have to buy another car within the next couple of weeks and I won't ever go to Toyota Manhattan dealer again. We have been going there for years but as of last month this will change. I will start going to the Toyota in Torrance. More

Absolutely the worst dealership in Southern California! Seriously, stay away from this place! I live in LA, and was shopping for a new Camry, and being busy, I called about 7 dealerships asking for price q Seriously, stay away from this place! I live in LA, and was shopping for a new Camry, and being busy, I called about 7 dealerships asking for price quotes and the value of my trade-in. All dealerships except MBT complied- all dealerships gave me a general estimate of the trade in, and the price quotes for their cars. This dealership was absolutely the opposite. The sales person, Albert, was a complete ass/bitch on the phone. He kept telling me to come to the dealership. When I told him, that all I wanted was a quote, he very rudely informed me that to get anything done, I needed to drive 2 hours in the LA traffic to his dealership. This was a disgusting attitude and the tone which was taken on the phone was utterly unprofessional. There were people cheering and screaming in the background and yet this guys superior attitude and sneer came through. It was as if he was saying: Our dealership is so damn good that we don't need customers like you. And I completely agree with the person who posted before me: they try to use sales techniques which are ridiculously stupid. I'm staying away from this dealership, and telling all my friends, and anyone who values honesty, to stay away from this dealership. More
We live by the beach and always keep quarters in our cars for parking meters. About 6 months ago, 2 rolls of quarters were stolen out of my wifes car while it was in for service. We reported the problem but for parking meters. About 6 months ago, 2 rolls of quarters were stolen out of my wifes car while it was in for service. We reported the problem but it was only $40.00 so we just wrote it off. Recently our sons car was in for maintenance and his iPod was stolen from his glove box. I called the service manager immediately after returning home and he said he would contact me by the end of the day after he spoke with the owner. I didn't here anything from him so the next day I wrote Toyota Corporate asking them if it could this be investigated. They opened a case but did not answer my question. They said the Customer Relations Manager will contact me by the end of the business day Friday. In the event I did not receive contact from the dealership by this date, please contact them with a file number they provided. The Customer Relations Manager didn't contact me so I responded to Corporate again and they said I would need to work it out with the dealership. I also tried the BBB. I submitted my complaint and received a confirmation e-mail that they received my complaint. After not hearing anything for a month, I called to follow up and was told there was no complaint. More
THE worst car shopping experience of my life without a doubt. Of course, the test drive went great, and Lamar was very courteous and helpful, but after that.... they try EVERY TRICK that was used in the c doubt. Of course, the test drive went great, and Lamar was very courteous and helpful, but after that.... they try EVERY TRICK that was used in the car sales - 50 years ago! Of course, to start with, it's the old bait and switch: they had my car advertised on theirs weekend sales flyer, turned out, it's only dark colors, not the color I wanted. So fine, I say give me a reasonable price. No he says, lets first fill out the application! Finally, he seemed to agree to the price, only to be contradicted by the manager (of course, the manager is always the bad guy in this game). The manager comes over, and starts throwing numbers at us, pulls out this little crumpled piece of paper, and starts to jot numbers all over it.. that thing works like a red cloth to a bull for me, so I got up and just flew out of there, telling them to call me when they are ready. Of course, they called 10 minutes afterwards, with more games... To tell you the truth, I would not buy a car from these guys after this, even if they gave me the price I wanted. DO NOT GO THERE. More
