Service Dept customer interaction is average not great. Last visit was instigated by a "check engine" indicator. Service Rep explanation was unsatisfying but an appointment was scheduled for the next day Last visit was instigated by a "check engine" indicator. Service Rep explanation was unsatisfying but an appointment was scheduled for the next day. I asked the Rep how I could use my Ford Visa points and gave him a printout of my points. He said he can use my account number from the sheet. In less than 2hours a bad oxygen sensor was replaced and something was reprogrammed. I was presented with a $565 bill which I paid with my Ford Visa card. I was a little disturbed by the cost but I was happy to get my F-150 back. Later I reviewed the bill and no Ford Visa credit was applied. My wife scolded me for not checking the bill and for trusting the Rep. Service work seems to be more competent but my Dec WORKs inspection did not identify a weak 8 year old battery. 6 weeks later I was scrambling for jumper cables to get to my "local" mechanic to replace the dead battery.
