We went to Mazda of Manchester after looking for a car for about 3 weeks. We had just started looking and had looked at used cars and realized that moving from a van to a 5 seater car with 2 boys their for about 3 weeks. We had just started looking and had looked at used cars and realized that moving from a van to a 5 seater car with 2 boys their sports equipment and friends as well as two large dogs that we should take another look at used CX9's. We had no intention of buying a car that day - we even said to eachother "we are not buying a car today" on the way there. We walked into the dealership and a nice woman asked how she could help and introduced us to Dave who took the time to show us some used CX9's as well as explained car options and financing options. Based on the information he shared we decided to look at a new CX9 with all the options we were looking for and realized it was affordable. We walked away putting a deposit on a brand new car. Dave was patient with us, personable, - answered all of our questions and the Mazda team provided great information on financing options. Dave also took the time to explain all the functions of our new car with all its safety and tech items. The financing people were great and explained everything. All in all my husband felt it was the best car buying experience he has had. We have been back for our free car washes and have caught up with Dave and are planning on getting a couple of accessories for the car. Car has been great so far - great handling - was great in a recent thunderstorm downpour and I look forward to how it will handle in the snow. More
I went to several different dealers before finally settling with one I liked. Jay Wood was extremely helpful and easy to work with. He is also the first honest salesperson I've dealt with in my car buying history. I've walked out of dealerships in the past when I've sensed that the salesperson was more interested in their own interests than mine. My experience was much like Stan had said. I had visited another dealer a few days before and that was good til I was ready to go and the price haggling began. I never experienced that with Kate. I saw the information online and can in armed with my Consumer Reports pricing information and ready to see what Mazda had to offer. I was set up to see Lisa but she was with a client so we saw Kate and she had the car I wanted to test drive and see all set in front of the dealership. Kate was informative, pleasant and honest. The trade in for my car was a bit less than I expected but the price offered on the Mazda was the quoted online price. I felt very comfortable and have never had that experience in a car dealership before. I was so pleased with the way the car handled and how we were treated that I made the decision right there to purchase the Mazda 3 and have not regretted it at all. I love my new car. Lisa came over and asked if we had any questions and we told her how happy we were with Kate's work. We came in a few days later and met with Harold to complete the financing. That was pleasant as well. I would recommend Mazda of Manchester to anyone and especially Kate Micari! More
I just had a great experience buying a car. Let me say that again. I just had a great experience buying a car. To me buying a car used to mean preparing for battle with the sales person, then the sales ma that again. I just had a great experience buying a car. To me buying a car used to mean preparing for battle with the sales person, then the sales manager and finally the business manager. In this case, Mazda of Manchester (CT) was completely different. Their web site was comprehensive and up-to-date. When I called they indicated that the cars I was interested in would be available for review. When I arrived at the dealership I noticed all three used cars were in front of the sales office ready for inspection and possibly a test drive. Kate, the sales person, greeted me, asked for details of what I was interested in and then offered to show me each car. I did a test drive with two of the cars. They were in immaculate condition. Both cars met my needs so I sat down with Kate to discuss pros and cons of each in relation to their price. I had checked Edmonds and Kelly Blue Book so I was ready to battle about the price. The Mazda of Manchester prices for both cars and my trade in were right on target with the prices I had hoped to negotiate. After we agreed on the price, Kate told me that they were going to put on new tires and windshield wipers as well as replace a malfunctioning key remote – all free of charge. One more thing, I had the car inspected by my mechanic. He found a slightly cracked air conditioning belt that Mazda agreed to replace. Mazda of Manchester has completely changed my thoughts on buying a car. I recommend them enthusiastically. More
