My experience went south as soon as I agreed to buy the car. Sales rep was friendly, but couldn't seem to deliver on much that was promised. The car I wanted wasn't available on the lot. The sales rep sai car. Sales rep was friendly, but couldn't seem to deliver on much that was promised. The car I wanted wasn't available on the lot. The sales rep said they could procure a car in 5-7 days per the contract, but rep said it would probably be in 3 business days and they could get the car in a swap from another dealership. Then without asking me what I would prefer, they decided to get it from the Honda Manufacturer in Canada even though there were 20 cars available locally. Well 5-7 days took approx. 3 weeks, because of shipping delays with the manufacturer in Canada that I was later told by the Sales Rep. that the guy who procures the car was aware of the shipping issues from the get go. The new car Sale Manager called me after I threatened to cancel and instead of being apologetic, just offered excuses for their mess. It's Honda's fault not Manchester Honda's fault. There's a rail strike in Canada, he tells me. Funny I said says on the news that strike was settled before I even initially decided to buy the car. No attempt as customer service recovery was offered and even at one point told me I wasn't telling him the truth when I said the sales rep had said the car would be their on the 17th and had given me a vin so I could get insurance ready for the car pickup, but the delivery date got pushed back. Great service, call me a liar about a conversation he never heard...What a jerk. Finally after they procured a car and I went to pickup the car. I was told to go with someone to tell me about the features of my car. He just gave me the key's and then stared at me for a minute of two. He didn't seem to have anything to say, so I had to pepper him with questions to get info. Then I went to sign the final paperwork and then I found out that the Extended Life Time Powertrain Warranty requires you to pay a 100.00 deductible to use the warranty each time. I said it was kind of crappy to have to pay to use a warranty. And the response I got was ..."you don't have to buy the car". Funny it says on their webpage.... "There are no catches, hidden fees, or gimmicks. Manchester Honda provides this product as an added value to our customers for doing business with us. The only "catch"? You have to buy your vehicle here!" Clearly a misrepresentation of the truth and in my opinion false advertising. The sorry thing if they told me this up front, instead of hiding the fact I wouldn't of been pissed off by it, but this is clearly false advertising. Also, the spare Master Key was missing at time of pickup and two weeks later I still don't have it. Sales rep claims they mailed it without any tracking. In summation service is great until you agree to buy the car, from there it's all down hill. Sales rep. kept me informed, promised he would take my complaints to the General Sales Manager, but I never heard back from him. Support staff I dealt with is at best apathetic and in some case outright rude to you. Don't buy your car from here, unless you enjoy headaches. The Customer Service there sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!! More
Basically I was mislead and cheated. I have a perfectly functioning 2008 Honda Odyssey. Unfortunately the battery died and a AAA tow serive was unable to restart the battery. It was towed to Manchester Hon functioning 2008 Honda Odyssey. Unfortunately the battery died and a AAA tow serive was unable to restart the battery. It was towed to Manchester Honda for battery replacement. When I dropped off the car I left a waiver stating that I do not agree to have repairs done for greater than $200. When I arrived to pick up the car 2 days alter I was given a bill for $457.00. This should never ever happen. No Honda dealer service center should ever charge a Honda owner for $457.00 for a battery. The dealership has not beem receptive to addressing this issue. I recommend that if you have a Honda that gets towed for any reason in Connecticut absolutely DO NOT take it to Manchester Honda because they may take advantage of that situation and over charge you. I purchased a pre-owned Odyssey from Manchester Honda and the experience was quite good. The vehicle had a few dings on the bumper and I expressed concern, and the Sales person immediately offered to have t the experience was quite good. The vehicle had a few dings on the bumper and I expressed concern, and the Sales person immediately offered to have their body shop repair and repaint the bumper. The prices were the best for the area, but their pricing is Sticker Price only. They refused to negotiate even $1 off. Even after haggling down other dealers Manchester was still close to or in fact the best price I could find, and the Pre-Owned vehicles were in better shape than the other deals so I went with Manchester. There is a $245 hidden fee for "vehicle conveyance" which also could not be negotiated on, but even with the fee the price was still strong. The salesperson, Jack Doyle, was very friendly, helpful, informative, and on top of everything. I'm recommending this dealer to others looking for a Honda. More
I called Manchester Honda the other day because they had a used car I was looking for and made an appointment. When I got there I was told that Erik Busher would be helping me. Let me just say how nice it w a used car I was looking for and made an appointment. When I got there I was told that Erik Busher would be helping me. Let me just say how nice it was to work with Erik. He took the time to figure out what I was looking for and explain to me that they had some other options that might work out better for me. He was very knowledgable about both the used and new cars that he had available. I can honestly say that every one that was there that day was very professional. Everyone said hi and asked if I needed any help. I ended up buying the used Accord that I went in to see and I am very happy with the vehicle. If you are looking for a car give Erik Busher at Manchester Honda a try. More
Two visits and it took 40 minutes to get a sales person each time. The worst part is that they were just walking around ignoring the customers. When I asked why, I was told that it was because the custome each time. The worst part is that they were just walking around ignoring the customers. When I asked why, I was told that it was because the customers requested that they not be bothered. Very abrupt and did not seem to care if you buy or not. More
