Bizarre sales practices. Zero care for customers Manahawkin Kia and I made a deal on a car and received an approval from the bank for financing. However, for some bizarre reason, they continued to s Manahawkin Kia and I made a deal on a car and received an approval from the bank for financing. However, for some bizarre reason, they continued to show the car to customers, go on test-drives, etc. They then sold the car to someone else. This happened within two days. Manahawkin refused to stop trying to sell the car to others, even though we had an active deal and financing was already in-place. I have sold cars for a living in three states. I have sold new and used, regular and high-end, passenger and commercial. My mother was the controller for a Volvo dealership for years. The best friend of the family is retired and was one of the biggest wholesalers in NJ, and a former dealership GM. I know very, very well how the business works. I have never heard even an anecdote from anyone in the business of a dealership doing what Manahawkin Kia did. The dealership made no attempt to fix the situation. They even refused to transfer another car from a dealership owned by the same owner. I now have a hard-pull on my credit for a loan that I can use because these useless people sold my car to someone else. Manahawkin Kia cares nothing about you and apparently doesn't care about their own reputation either. More
