Above and beyond On 8/10/2017, on my way down to Long Beach Island for vacation, my check engine light comes on. Knowing that a diagnostic had to take place but for now, I opened the hood to make sure the oil cap was on correctly and did did a quick visual check to make sure nothing was out of place. That past Monday the 7th, I brought my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited in for the Summer Travel Special (to include an oil change, topping off all fluids, etc.) to Autoland in Springfield, NJ however, they DID NOT top off any of my fluids or complete the multi-point inspection, test battery check cabin air filters or check belts and hoses. I immediately noticed the engine coolant was right at the fill line and the power steering fluid reservoir was completely empty. I paid for the service which I did not receive and they provided the bare minimum service. Shame on you Autoland! Not knowing if this was a serious problem or not, I contacted Manahawkin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and spoke with Fred Reinhold. I explained the situation and he and his team were a pleasure to deal with and could not have been more accommodating. Fred was able to take in my truck, top off all the fluids at no charge (which Autoland failed to do) and explained what needed to be done to clear the check engine light. It turns out that the Engine Oil Pressure Sensor was defective. I do hope corporate views this valuable feedback because when you have a dealer like Manahawkin Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, they are the ones that deserve extra incentives and accolades (especially Fred Reinhold). If I did not live so far away, I would 100% get my truck serviced with them. As for Autoland, their business practices are questionable (at best) and I am truly disappointed in the sequence of events that have taken place. Quality control at their facility is extremely poor (along with their staff) and should be investigated. Excellent Service Department Joe and Fred at the Service Desk are the best I have encountered by far. Every time I call, these two gentlemen make the issue easy to work through. Their customer service etiquette is far superior to other dealers I have interacted with. I actually purchased my Wrangler from PineBel through a referral from a friend and wish I had made it to Manahawkin Jeep first. If you want your issue fixed correctly the first time without the run-around and condescending attitude of other dealers, go to Manahawkin and see Joe and Fred. They will treat you like a human being and work hard to fix your issue. Joe actually went to bat for me with corporate to have the entire roll-bar cage adjusted at a body shop to eliminate a loud screech that had developed. I feel confident in saying my next vehicle will come from these guys and when any service issues develop, I will certainly call Joe first. Thank you! More

I'm in sales, so I get it. I waited for him and when he finally was able to assist, he was quick, friendly, and straight forward. Blaise, the sale manager took care of the pricing with no dog and pony show. I respect that. These are some stand up guys here. Love this dealership! When I had a minor problem, Blaise was quick to jump in. Thanks guys. More
Service Advisor Joseph Peters: THE BEST!!! I purchased A Ram 1500 pick up from an independent dealer, who was supposed to be reputable. I drove the vehicle for approximately 4000 miles and deve I purchased A Ram 1500 pick up from an independent dealer, who was supposed to be reputable. I drove the vehicle for approximately 4000 miles and developed a knocking noise from under the hood, as well as the transmission area. Concerned about any engine damage, I took the vehicle to Manahawkin Dodge and worked with Joseph Peters, Service Manager. He informed me that they would need to run a diagnostic, but the cost would be deducted if work had to be done. To make a long story short, it had to be a total engine replacement. Contacting the other dealership was a total waste of time. They would not and did not offer any help in any way, claiming my two month warranty was expired. Joe understood my circumstance and did EVERYTHING in his power to help me out. The NEW, not a junkyard engine, was ordered and replaced in under a week. I could not believe the truck when I saw it. Completely detailed inside and out and it ran like a charm. Exceptionally fair priced with a 3 yr./100,000 mi. warranty. Joe was such a pleasure to work with that I will now be taking my business to this dealership from now on. Also, they even offered me a loaner car, at no cost. This is what I call being treated with respect and dignity. Thanks, Joe, for all you did!!! More
