Condition of Vehicle Not Disclosed I recently, December 2016, purchased a used Jeep from Manahawkin Auto Sales. I am out of state and had the vehicle shipped to me. I was told by the ow I recently, December 2016, purchased a used Jeep from Manahawkin Auto Sales. I am out of state and had the vehicle shipped to me. I was told by the owner's brother on the phone that the Navigation system worked fine. Upon trying the system, the prompt asked me to insert the Navigation DVD....no DVD came with the vehicle, a $145 dollar item. Therefore there could be no mistaking that there was no Navigation at all.....I was obviously lied to. My heat did not work on the first two settings..I needed a new Resistor Blower Motor costing me $151.00. The glass on the tailgate could hardly open since the rear glass xxxxxxwere completely worn out costing me another $159.50. Both of these problems were obvious and should have been repaired before the vehicle was shipped. I feel I was taken advantage of because I am an older woman, which they knew, and because it was being shipped and once it arrived....too late to do anything since I signed the Sold As Is form. Shame on the Schultz brothers for taking advantage of me. They refuse to even help me pay for these repairs. BUYERS BEWARE....ESPECIALLY FEMALES More

The Best Car buying Experience I have been car shopping for quite sometime and saw a car on their website i was interested in. Called the number and spoke to James and I can tell yo I have been car shopping for quite sometime and saw a car on their website i was interested in. Called the number and spoke to James and I can tell you right away he was a very Professional and polite salesperson he gave me information on the car and I stopped in to see it. I was very impressed with James and i can honestly tell you I have never had a better car buying experience ever. There was No-pressure, didn't feel rushed and all the questions I had was answered - No games and the Final price was exactly as negotiated (no last-minute surprises!!! which in the past has happened before) I felt that James went far beyond a normal salesperson he was extremely genuine and had a great sense of humor. He stayed late to ensure all paperwork was in order. Both my wife and I were impressed at how painless the car buying process was. I would definitely recommend this dealership. -- Steve More

Bad expierence/deceptive agreements Went to this dealership to buy a car I saw online. A man named Rich helped me. I paid the car in full he told me everything was included that all i ha Went to this dealership to buy a car I saw online. A man named Rich helped me. I paid the car in full he told me everything was included that all i have to do is come in person to pick up my tags and title. I get a call from them 2 weeks later that i have to pay an addictional $131.50 after being told everything was included in the price i paid. Never once did he mention that I would have to pay an extra charge. He left out the paperwork that supposedly had that information on it which I never seen or signed. He admitted to leaving out that information and tried to talk his way out of it but do not deal with Richard M. But he already has numorous complaints filed for doing the samething to other people. More

Went the next day to manahawkin auto sales and as I very walked in I felt the connection and was treated and cared for right away with proper manners. James Schultz was the sales person that let me take my time and enjoy the car for a test drive, there was no pressure or felt of rushing. After the test drive we talked details and throughout the whole process we felt a strong connection to James that made us feel like he was one of us and not just another scavenger of a sales associate hungry for any sales. Throughout the whole process he listened to what we had to say and really worked his magic to make us and them happy on a agreeable price. James was very attentive when it came to what my payment required and he really did go above and beyond to make sure it was not a penny more and that i was satisfied with it. After that night we returned the next day to meet with the business manager Richard Matarrese who was also very polite, professional, and cared for us. He worked very hard to go above and beyond to get us the right price we wanted so we could come to a deal. During the process of paperwork it wasn't just a normal delearship paperwork sitting, with Richard we talked and really connected and got in touch with each other which really showed he cared and wanted us to be happy too with what we have like we were in a big old family. We related in many ways which made the paperwork and process so much easier and quicker, he was a very easy to talk to kind a guy not like at others where most of the businesss managers are robots only caring if they make a deal or not. To Richard and James it felt way more in that they went out of their way to make sure we were happy and to talk to us to make us feel comfortable with it too. They both listens to everything we had to say and really put it to work making this the best car shopping I have ever had. Overall the experience with James and Richard were both outstanding and very easy to where they were attentive to every thing I needed and were always willing to change something if I wasn't comfortable. Them both and the Manahawkin auto sales are overall a very trustworthy and very nice,considerate,caring dealership that had made me beyond happy with my car and will have my business with cars for many years to continue and with all my future car shopping. More

I won't go anywhere else! I saw a Ford truck on their lot on Sunday. They were closed. I went to their website to find the vehicle, and sent a message.
