My car purchase My first car purchase at Jerry's was not the most efficient or pleasant and I almost walked away. The salesman simply had his own agenda and that of the dealership and did not listen to me. I finally gave him 15 minutes to get everything settled or I walked. He did and I left with the car I wanted. My second purchase went much more smoothly because I stated what I wanted, what I would not consider and the salesman heard me and helped me mover along in the process. Again I got the car I wanted and am very happy with it. I am also happy with the service department. Bill Ritenour has been my favorite helper but others are also helpful. There was a time period when I was using crutches to get around and everyone there was extremely helpful without making a big fuss. My handicap continues and so does their helping hands for which I am very grateful. :) More
Great service! Went in for an oil change and asked if they could give my car a quick wash. Not only did they wash my car but they also vacuumed it, shined the tires and put air into them. I had a great experience with the salesperson and financial mgr when I bought my 2020 edge. Then it all went downhill. Requested/paid for new plates—none ordered. Refund never arrived and multiple financial mgr when I bought my 2020 edge. Then it all went downhill. Requested/paid for new plates—none ordered. Customer Service Sucks Worthless, shady and predatory business people at this place, they may as well be a payday loan center. The staff there are very unprofessional, unsophisticated and incompetent. They thrive off a certain demographic for sales, ignorant unaware types of people. Have no clue about the Ford Rebates. If you are the type that just cares about your monthly payment and do not care how they get to that number and you sign, your their person. Once you start to ask questions, the lies and deception are endless. They are unprofessional, rude, no people skills at all. Watch Out for the Sales Managers, the Finance Managers because they just don't care. The owner of Jerry's Ford should really look into better training skills, for every position and if I were the owner I would be ashamed to have my name on the building, because of the people working there, they are just given Jerry's a even worst name. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I purchased a 2017 Ford Escape at this dealership a little over a month ago. When I went to the dealership to look at the vehicle I made mention a few I purchased a 2017 Ford Escape at this dealership a little over a month ago. When I went to the dealership to look at the vehicle I made mention a few times how happy I was it came with everything I was looking for including the luggage rack/ roof rails, because I was specifically looking for a vehicle that came with them. They were in the trunk of the vehicle but it was used so I thought the previous owner took them off for whatever reason. After about a week of owning the vehicle I tried to put the cross bars on but there was no hardware. Not once when I mentioned the roof rack during the sales/ paperwork did anyone say "well they're useless because there is no hardware included" The hardware cannot be bought separately, it comes as a kit with the bars & cost a few hundred dollars. I have called 4 times about this issue. The 1st 3 times I was told I'd get a call back. I never got one. The 4th time I was told there was nothing they could do. I should have been told upfront that there was no hardware especially since they new full well that the rack was one of the reasons I was purchasing the vehicle. Those bars should not have even been in the vehicle since they are useless with out the hardware. They knew what they were doing by leaving them in there. They also said they would have the vehicle washed & try to buff out a couple small scratches on one of the doors & side mirror. None of that was done. I work at a body shop so a coworker is going to buff it for me but he shouldn't have to since the dealership said they would. So in conclusion, I paid for roof rails I can't use & the dealership refuses to do anything or help in any way, nothing they told me they were going to do before I picked up the vehicle got done & when I try to contact them I get no call back. I fully regret purchasing my vehicle from them & will advise anyone looking for a vehicle to stay away from Jerry's dealerships in general especially Jerry's Ford. More
