The guys i worked with were great, however the prices have gone up and being told that it took over an hour to program a key fob was ridiculous. Slow Service with no real answers. The Service Department is very friendly however there are constant employment issues. We asked about how long the original tire tread would last. Until they are worned down! This is your answer about a vehicle you sell? Duh! I scheduled an appt for an oil change for 915. I arrive early and told the young lady I would be waiting for it. 2 hours later I checked and was told it would be another 45 min he was behind. Every single time I am nothing short of impressed with the quickness and reliability. Daniel is a extraordinary servicer. He is quick, prompt, calls and explains, does not lie, and does not beat around the bush when it comes to what is best. I happened to overhear him speaking with another customer today actually; he not only approached them while they were sitting in waiting room, but he sat down with them, made eye contact, and explained to them what they should do. He encouraged them to NOT spend x amount of money but gave other advice as to what they should do -- that is something you don't hear often or ever from a dealership. Quality with a capital Q. More

They are really honest and forthcoming, not the typical "take you to the cleaners" that you expect from dealer service. They are honest about issues, costs, and asks for permission upfront; they are don't repair and then tell you the price later. They also are honest about what is wrong, what has to be done, what could be done, and what should be done. Daniel C in service communicates clearly and is available as well as responsive on phone and email. Jim Price has good sales persons but it is the service that continues to sell cars and brings customers back again and again. More
Good Dealership, Bad Service My initial interaction with the guy registering my truck was unpleasant as he was rude and gave me the impression he did not care about me or my vehic My initial interaction with the guy registering my truck was unpleasant as he was rude and gave me the impression he did not care about me or my vehicle. He never said hello, please or thank you during any part of our interactions and the first thing he did is tell me that my vehicle did not qualify for the free oil change as it was used and not new. I informed him that it was new and that I had called the day before to verify that before my appointment was booked. He said it didn't matter as I gave them incorrect information. I purchased the truck from Lyndsey Cheverolet in April and it was new. I asked him to call them to confirm since my invoice was not acceptable by him and he said it was not his job to call anyone, that was my job and to bring it back if it is cleared up. I was getting pissed off by then as he already did not believe me in the first place, so why can't he help clear this up as he was either mistaken or I was a victim of fraud by the dealer. I refused to leave since I took off from my job and I called the dealer. He again kept working and said he didn't have time for it. As I was connected to the service manager at Lyndsey, he said the problem was fixed and I could hang up . I asked what the issue was and he stated someone else had entered the wrong vin #. I know it was him as he was the only one working with me. He never apologized or acknowledged the issue further. When my truck was done an hour later he said the printer was down and I couldn't get a copy of my receipt. He never asked for my email or address to give me a receipt, he just walked away. This guy is a real jerk and others in the area said I should report him but I was afraid my vehicle wold pay the price. To be honest, this is the reason I drove 2 hours to Lyndsey when I bought my truck as I had a similar experience 10 years earlier in the service department. I had heard great things from my friends about Jim price, but I have yet to be treated with respect there. I will likely find a new service center more locally and see if I can find any as good as Lyndsey Cheverolet. More
EXCELLENT - Very Satisfied I had worked with another dealer service department to rectify a consistent problem with my brakes I had been having before and still after their init I had worked with another dealer service department to rectify a consistent problem with my brakes I had been having before and still after their initial repair. Several visits, many miles and tons of frustration later, and after no response from their service department, I decided to give Price Hyundai a try. Along with my scheduled service, I asked for them to take a look at my brakes. They did just that, then walked me through and carefully explained to me why I was still having the issue, which should have been resolved during the initial repair. They fixed the problem, and actually fixed it, and I am very happy. They even put a thank you note and mint in the car. I am extremely grateful for the time and care they took with my car, and they will be my Service Center from now on. Thank you! More
