Pleasantly surprised Being that this was my first time buying a car, I was prepared for the worst because of all the horror stories about sleazy salesmen that I've heard. Being that this was my first time buying a car, I was prepared for the worst because of all the horror stories about sleazy salesmen that I've heard. But I tried Major World because the reviews were decent and they had A LOT of inventory. I'm glad I did! "Lefty" my salesman, was very patient. And Derek, who handled the financing was brutally honest (about my mediocre credit..lol) But they both worked with me to get me into a car that I could afford (and it don't look bad either!) Very happy with my car This was our second vehicle purchase at Major World (first was in 2006). We had a great rapport with our salesman and got a good deal and pretty terri This was our second vehicle purchase at Major World (first was in 2006). We had a great rapport with our salesman and got a good deal and pretty terrific financing for our 2012 car. Our only issue was the 2nd key for our car – we got two keys with our initial purchase, but with this car, the 2nd key wasn't available at the time of purchase. We were told that someone would look for it and that it’d be available very soon. We went back to Major World a week later and then 12 days after that, after a lot of back and forth where we kept having to initiate the contact, it turned out there was a $75 fee for the key. This wouldn't have bothered me so much if it was stated outright or even at any point in the 3+ weeks since we’d made the purchase. But it was only divulged when we called yet again about it last week. The fact that we had to keep calling for updates about the key really made getting the news about the $75 a drag, but apparently that’s where it stands: no money, no key. So we have left the issue there because it is not worth getting all upset and worked up over. Having a second key would be really nice, but if it’s going to cause agitation for us and cost money we weren’t expecting, we’ll just deal with it. We are enjoying our car a lot and really enjoyed working with Hugo and Derrick. More
