My truck was taken to dealership to find overheating problems. A hose came off and just needed reattaching. As part of the service a gallon of coolant was added, the system was pressure tested and pass problems. A hose came off and just needed reattaching. A week later while on a camping trip in Lake Tahoe my wife experienced a check engine light, she took the truck to a auto parts store and they got a po117 code. My wife while on the phone with me had to add another 1/2 gallon of coolant to the truck. I returned to the dealership to have them examine the vehicle which took all day to do. I received a call 10 minutes before they closed and was informed that my truck now had a "plugged radiator and needed a new one. I asked how it could pass the other tests they had done the previous weekend and was not given a satisfactory answer. The next day I picked the truck up brought it home, properly evacuated the cooling system and have not had a problem/check engine light since. I don't know why this was not done the first time the truck was in the shop but this is unacceptable to me and should be unacceptable to you as well. This has impacted our family's decision as to where are vehicles are serviced and where our next new vehicles will purchased. More
I hate to give such a bad review but I feel service has been lacking the last year. My husband had an appointment for normal service and it took over five hours to complete. He said there were many other people complaining as well. He also asked for his tires to be rotated and there was a note saying that the tread on his tires were too low. He had just looked into replacing them and was told the tread was still at 70%. So, not sure what would qualify for rotation. More
