Bad service appointment experience I called to make an appointment for service and the scheduler told me they would only rotate the tires because I hadn’t put enough miles on the car. T I called to make an appointment for service and the scheduler told me they would only rotate the tires because I hadn’t put enough miles on the car. They also told me that 6 months ago when I called to schedule routine service. This time they didn’t even ask what the mileage was. When I purchased the vehicle I paid almost $4,000 for toyota care for 5 years. It appears that shows up for the scheduler and it makes me think if they can talk me out of service at that point they don’t have to use labor I’ve already paid for to service my car. If that’s not the case then the scheduler needs retraining or be replaced. That attitude does not create a good customer relationship. I made the appointment even though she said they would only rotate the tires. When I arrived for the appointment I told the service writer I wanted the 3 year service. At that point they performed the service as outlined in the owners service manual. To have the appointment scheduling desk make service decisions does not set well with me. More

However, during my previous service visit in December 2018 there was follow-up planned for my truck's air conditioning system, which is not working. I was not pleased regarding the report on my AC, as the repair estimate was based on what was only "suspected" to be the problem - not firm enough knowledge to move forward with a $2,000 repair estimate. More
