I brought my 2012 Prius to have the battery recharged. It was the original battery, 10 years old, warranty 3 years. I was told by the service agent that they would check to see if my battery would hold It was the original battery, 10 years old, warranty 3 years. I was told by the service agent that they would check to see if my battery would hold charge and if not, I would have the option of replacing. He gave me the price of a new battery and told me the warranty is for 7 years. I decided to give the service team the go ahead to replace the battery if needed. I really appreciated being given the option. The service team tried twice to charge my old battery but it did not hold the charge. So I got a new battery. More
