routine vehicle service takes too long I made an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, and a recall repair. I was told that everything would take 2-3 hours. It took 6-1/2 hours. I made an appointment for an oil change, tire rotation, and a recall repair. I was told that everything would take 2-3 hours. It took 6-1/2 hours. It should have been easy to give an accurate time estimate, given that there were no problems that needed to be troubleshooted. Changing oil, changing tires, and a standard minor recall should all have standard, set, time frame allotments. If something is going to take 6-1/2 hours, then JUST LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW so that the customer can accurately plan for, and not have ruined, the day's other activities! More
