Service was good. Facility was clean and run safely. Too bad for me that brakes had so quickly deteriorated from last service coinciding with expiration of warranty. I used to love Maguire so much in terms of its high level of service quality. But the situation I experienced last Tuesday was terrible, and I am so disappointed. First, the technician wasn`t wearing a of service quality. But the situation I experienced last Tuesday was terrible, and I am so disappointed. First, the technician wasn`t wearing a mask when he was working. Even though when I entered the office, he wore the mast unwillingly after a couple of seconds. Second, he didn`t explain anything about the parts he fixed. Literally, he didn`t explain. When I was asking a few questions about the brake pads and the inspections, he just said "Yes". Third, when I asked to use the coupon that I got from Maguire, he seemed so angry (I don't know why he was so mad) and he almost threw the car key at me. He even told me that I should have mentioned the coupon before even though I talked to him about the coupons on the phone. I do believe that when a customer returns a car from a service center, at least a technician is required to explain what he did to my car and what I need to do. (last summer when I got a service, one guy told me that I might need to check the brake pads and that`s why I visited the Maguire service center) Even though people who are living in Ithaca don't have enough options when they buy a car, it doesn't necessarily mean that we deserve this low-level quality of service that I received. Lastly, I want to say that the manager tried to solve this situation and apologized to me several times. I hope that he doesn't receive any disadvantage. I appreciate that the manager showed a polite and reasonable attitude to me. I will never go to Maguire Nissan of Ithaca anymore. I miss Maguire on downtown so much. (Just so you know, I spent 952.54$ for brake pads and rotors and don't have any grievance about the price at all) More
