I brought my 2004 Ford Thunderbird in because it was making a noise. I was in transit and pulled into the nearest garage. They diagnosed bad struts but said it was safe to drive. Your mechanics at Maguire Ford ignored the prior diagnosis and said it was a loose heat shield. They also said that the oil pan was rusted out. I don’t think this was a problem until your mechanics got playing around with it. There are absolutely no oil drops on my garage floor. But ok, go ahead and fix it. Your service agent was very easy to deal with, but didn’t call back when she said she would. It was so bad that it became a joke with my friends. Anyway, I’m pleased with the work, but $2000+ later it’s still making the noise. More
We are not your typical car buyers. Despite this odd list, Kristy Vargason satisfied our unusual needs promptly and cheerfully. Thoughtful to our concerns, she allowed us to take the car out in the morning for an extended test drive to insure that it would be an easy transition to the new car. Buying cars can be complicated, with many intersecting issues, some of which can have an impact on final pricing. She worked with us to arrange a final package that met our needs, including a purchase price that was fair with fair value given on our trade-in. We were on vacation in Ithaca when our battery died due to being in and out of vehicle. AAA jumpstarted us and told us our battery was bad and needed to be replaced. Maguire fit us into service schedule i to being in and out of vehicle. AAA jumpstarted us and told us our battery was bad and needed to be replaced. Maguire fit us into service schedule immediately, ran diagnostic tests,and told us vehicle was fine. They did not try to rip us off. They easily could have made money selling us repair that we did not need as we were from out of town. They kindly and professionally explained everything. Very good experience for us. More
