Best vehicle purchase experience in my life! I lost my Chevy Colorado due to Helene’s flood in Florida and I looked nationwide for a comparable truck, finding one at Maguire Grand Island in Buff I lost my Chevy Colorado due to Helene’s flood in Florida and I looked nationwide for a comparable truck, finding one at Maguire Grand Island in Buffalo, over 1,200 miles away from home. Sales Consultant Brian Benford and General Sales Manager Scott Molenda made the long trip worthwhile. After hearing my devastating story about the flooding of my home, they made the process incredibly easy for me. They were so accommodating, and even scheduled a shuttle from my hotel to the dealer. They had all the documentation ready, gave me a really good deal on the Chevy Colorado I purchased, were honest and straightforward from day one. Brian communicated with me with honesty and integrity from the first call, photographed the vehicle and pointed out a small scratch, which he promised to address. Sure enough, upon my arrival the car was impeccable, detailed and no evidence of the small scratch. It looked like a new truck! Brian and Scott made me feel like family, suggesting good local restaurants and places to visit during my time in Buffalo. I highly recommend Maguire Chevrolet, specially Brian and Scott. Thank you for all your help and the exceptional service. More
This was the worst car repair experience I’ve ever had. After a month of “did you look at it or not” I was told I needed a new engine. They tried to sell me a used engine for $10000. When the engine arrive After a month of “did you look at it or not” I was told I needed a new engine. They tried to sell me a used engine for $10000. When the engine arrived they confirmed it was delivered but claim they never inspected it. It took 3 weeks for the mechanic to decide to install engine then he called to say the exhaust manifold was cracked. I told him it was under warranty I would get back to him the next day. He installed it and tried to add $400 to the bill without my permission. The bill went from $1500 up to 3000, down to $2800 then $2400. The final bill was $1972. I pay my balance only to discover my brakes have been tampered with. They tried to convince me my brakes were metal to metal after sitting for 5 months through spring. They offer to take a look at them when I return for the final time they had the nys trooper and sheriff waiting. I was respectful, pleasant and even shook the manager’s hand not sure why he felt the need to have them there. I felt I was racially profiled and police presence was an intimidation tactic because they knew they were wrong. More
Finding my perfect car had me searching all over New York. I went to many dealerships, spoke to many sales people and every single time either the car was not as advertised or the sales person was pushi York. I went to many dealerships, spoke to many sales people and every single time either the car was not as advertised or the sales person was pushing for extra things that were not even useful/in my scope When I found the car in Maguire of Grand Island, it checked every single box. The car was in great condition and most importantly, the price was great. The problem was, I’m 6 hours away from their dealership. When I reached out to Maguire, I was contacted by Brian and instantly knew he was going to be awesome. He walked me through every single step and patiently answered all the questions I had. We worked on the deal for almost a week and every single day he reached out to kept me informed of what was going on. Brian was very transparent of the fees (nothing extra more than your normal title, etc), price and time of when the car would be ready. He even got me a better interest rate than what I was offered by my bank! Ultimately, the car checked out and the service provided was excellent that I decided to take this long 12 hour trip for my new vehicle :) thanks Brian! More
I called about an issue with my car on October 12th. The issue was that my steering wheel controls weren’t working (phone buttons, checkmark, music controls). I had gotten an oil change earlier that day The issue was that my steering wheel controls weren’t working (phone buttons, checkmark, music controls). I had gotten an oil change earlier that day and they told me to call the dealership because there was probably a bulletin out on my car. The dealership said they needed the vin and that it would either be a quick or long fix and they didn’t know until I got there. They set me up with an appointment for Thursday the 17th at 8:30. The guy on the phone told me Thursday worked best because it was a lighter day. I arrived for my appointment at 8:15 and they seemed to have no idea that I had an appointment. Then they told me that it was a $200 fee just to diagnose the problem which was not told to me over the phone. Then I sat in the showroom for 3 hours with no update. I asked about my car at 11:40. I was told there would be an update in 10 minutes. I waited over 30 more minutes for an update. I was told what the problem was and that they had the part and it would be another hour. Then told they did not have the part and it would be another 2 hours and 45 minutes. I got shuttled to my house at 12:50. I heard that my car was done at 2:30 and that he under quoted me by $82. Then I paid cash and the woman who took my money gave me back $100 extra change. I even verbally confirmed with her “I gave you $100 extra?” And she said yes. Then the next day I get a call that their cash was short and I owed $100. I paid with a credit card over the phone and was told there would be no credit card charge since I paid cash in person and it was their fault they did not get all of it. This whole experience had a ton of mistakes and miscommunications. After paying over the phone, I spoke with Mr. Pino and he offered a free detailing of my car. More
They told me it would be $200 to run a diagnostic test on my battery and that they would figure that price into the cost of the repair. They charge me $235 for a battery and the original bill was $514 when I my battery and that they would figure that price into the cost of the repair. They charge me $235 for a battery and the original bill was $514 when I complained They reduced it to $472 And they didn’t take any of the $200 cost off of i I also had to wait about three hours total time I have never been charged a diagnostic fee by Fucillo.
