My 4-year-old Chevy Equinox shut itself down the other day due to the PCV failing causing the rear main valve to fail. GM was sued over this problem which they then had to do a recall but didn't included my vehicle. Instead of fixing the problem they still sold these vehicles with the problem. I bought the extended warranty on the advice of the sales rep. That should have been a red flag but without knowing that they were still having issues, I never questioned it! However, I should have been covered thru the extended warranty. But Macmulkin Chevrolet’s incompetent Repair center didn’t even put the claim in correctly. They have given 3 different stories to the warranty company. They even told the Warranty Company that the PCV malfunctioned due to lack of service which is totally untrue! You wouldn't take apart the engine to check an internal component during an oil change or tune up. This caused the Warranty company not to cover the PCV. They are only covering the rear main valve parts because that is the last submission to them from Macmulkin's repair department. I know this because I called the warranty company myself. At this point, GM or Macmulkin should be covering the repair totally for this issue. They knew the issue didn't fix it and sold cars suggesting you get the extended warranty to cover themselves. That didn't work for me. This dealership is the worst, and they need to pay for it since they didn't submit the claim properly. I did my research and knew what this issue was before I sent it to be repaired! Also, I couldn't bring it to another dealer to be fixed since it had to go back to the dealer that I bought it from due to a stipulation in the Warranty. If had my choice, it wouldn't have gone to them. They have the worst rated repair center on the area. More
⚠️ Warning! This company does not care about first responders. If you're a first responder, do not waste your time with this dealership. Macmulkin does not want to sell a vehicle to a first responder responders. If you're a first responder, do not waste your time with this dealership. Macmulkin does not want to sell a vehicle to a first responder simply because they will make more money selling it to someone else. I raised this question to manager (Tony Dillberg) that they would rather sell the vehicle to someone other than a first responder because they would would make more money and he said YES, you are correct. Unbelievable and sad. More

I purchased a Certified Preowned car from MacMulkin Chevrolet. They claimed the car went through a 172-point inspection. This is a scam. I found a number of problems with the car including a loose stee Chevrolet. They claimed the car went through a 172-point inspection. This is a scam. I found a number of problems with the car including a loose steering connection and problems with the rear brakes all of which had “passed” the certification inspection. Then there is the communication problem, they do not like to communicate. A miserable experience. More

DO NOT GO HERE FOR CAR REPAIRS!! Customer service is terrible here!!! They seemed overwhelmed with vehicles. They NEVER call to update you on the status of your car. I had to call the Customer service is terrible here!!! They seemed overwhelmed with vehicles. They NEVER call to update you on the status of your car. I had to call them and then when you call them they tell you they'll have someone call back with the details of the work needed. No one ever does. Finally, when I did speak to someone after calling of course, they tell me what parts would be replaced and the cost, only to find something different on the bill when I picked up my car. They will up charge for services that weren't discussed. If there is an error in charges on your receipt, that you bring to their attention, they will only give you a credit towards future repairs. Not a refund. Customers satifaction does not come first here, which is unfortunate. For this reason I will no longer be giving them my business. This dealership use to have such great customer service but it has gone down hill in this area since they've grown. Communication and great customer service is key to a successful business and they no longer have that at MacMulkin Chevrolet in Nashua Nh. More
With out a doubt this is the worst dealership I have ever done business with. They were good to deal with when you buy your first car from them. But then it all changes and I feel they showed absolutely no done business with. They were good to deal with when you buy your first car from them. Showed pictures to two mechanics, one a race car driver, who both confirmed that it was physically impossible that the car tires were not spun. Amazingly, the MacMulkin parking lot and adjacent service bays provided proof of burn outs. I have the pictures to prove burn outs and tire damage. Sales staff (not all) were horrific, arguing that tire damage was due to removal of a plastic label on the tire (physically impossible) and that burn outs in their lot were caused by customers (highly unlikely). Absentee owner, Jeffrey Thompson, only involved himself after the Better Business Bureau complaint that I filed required a response, to which he lied and stated that I backed our of buying the car due to "buyers remorse" over the price of the car. The price of the car was fair - I had no issue with it and never tried to haggle - it was the damage and future transmission issues that I had a problem with (go figure...) The only remorse I had was going to MacMulkin. I have now purchased the same car at the same price, undamaged, at a reputable dealer, Criswell Chevrolet in Maryland. Do yourself a favor, and go to another Chevy dealer. MacMulkin does not care about you, will not act in your service (I did most of their job for them) - the cars just sell themselves despite the issues at MacMulkin. What MacMulkin will do is give you pat responses, tout themselves as the second largest Corvette dealership, beat your new car, abuse you and lie about it. I leave it to the Attorney General, DMV and GM to resolve the larger issues of bad practices at MacMulkin, damage to consumers and tarnishing the great Chevy name. More
