To earn a "Certified" designation, a preowned car must pass a 172-point inspection. Problems should be fixed then and the inspection form is then signed by two managers. If the vehicle does not pass the inspection, it should not be sold as a Certified Preowned vehicle. It was not MacMulkin that found these problems including a loose steering shaft linkage connection though they did fix them after the fact.

As we discussed the quote for the work performed was accurate, however the charge you mention was for a rental car you received for more than a few days while parts were on order, that is not refundable considering the repairs that were done on your 2008 Chevrolet. I would like to respond to your comments by simply stating that the vehicle was absolutely never abused as you stated. Our employees would never do this out of respect for the future owner of any car. I would also like to add that we had the local GM Service Manager come down to verify that the tires on that car had never been spun on pavement, it is very clear that never happened, they still have the mold marks consistent with a fresh tire. The tires are sticky and just a drive around the parking lot will attract small pieces of sand or dirt. Respectfully
