I found a 2006 Honda CRV SE on a web listing and made contact with internet sales. The internet sales rep was the only one who made contact several times to be sure I found the dealership and was taken contact with internet sales. The internet sales rep was the only one who made contact several times to be sure I found the dealership and was taken care of. I rode 2 hours to look at this car and felt very strongly I would be buying it. Before I took it for a ride I noticed 2 chips in the windshield. Mark and John told me they would fill them but that they didn't need to replace the windshield. After the test drive we filled in paper work to complete the sale. The finance manager couldn't get me loan/financing confirmation until Monday. The whole team if you watch them as you wait are an uninvolved group of employees. As one review I read after the fact, they are standing around shooting the breeze. I got a call sometime on Monday about the loan. To make this work I had to do a lot of driving. And I live 2 hours away and I run a busy delivery based business. So I commit to going to Nashua in sync with a delivery route toward Boston and tell Mark I will be there around 6:00 PM. I get there 6:15 and he isn't there and no one is too quick to help me. I need to bring a cashier's check for the full down payment, they wouldn't take a personal check on Saturday. Needless to say I was annoyed. Finally a salesman, Anthony Lake, did the paper work with me and got a receipt. I was there over a half hour and Mark still hadn't shown up from a test drive. As soon as they knew that car was sold, the attention was over. Mark had wanted to know what plates I was putting on the car...I needed new plates, there was no trade in....not too bright. Back in Massachusetts I went to the registry and discovered the RMV1 and the title had different mileage on them and got sent away to get a notarized affidavit about the correct mileage. I wasn't going back to NH again. I called...Mark not there John Levin not there. The receptionist tried to find me someone....a guy named Steve but the next day when I called to talk to Steve he said he didn't know what my situation was and he wasn't the one who spoke with me previously...there is no other Steve in the staff pictures..They hadn't called me to try to rectify the situation I needed to hunt them down. They weren't coming to me with the corrected form either. They were responsible and they had my money and they don't care at all about customer service. I did get Mark to drive to Leominster and I drove 1 hour to get to Leominster myself to get the corrected forms. I got the plate, I had arranged for my niece to go with me for the last 2 hour one way, 4 hour round trip to pick up the car. Mark said it had been detail really well....he wasn't there to deliver the car...John Levin found an employee to put the plates on it. The least they could have done was polished the tires with some armorall but no. I have sinced called to voice my disappointment, no response. The car had a remote starter that I learned about with the receiving of a second set of keys, it doesn't work and I called Mark and got no response. These guys are creepy and slimey. I wanted the car and I believe it will be exactly what I want but they couldn't have been more uninvolved and detached once they knew it was sold. I took it to my mechanic people in Noho Mass and they shined the tires, they checked the starter...they weren't looking for any extra fees. Just nice people. Do not go from out of state to this dealership. There are no protections if there is something wrong with the car after you drive away. They aren't going to make sure you have what you need to register it either....all of the sales reps liked telling me that their dealership isn't tied into MassDot to help with the registration and they don't have runners even to right over the line to places like Dracut, Lowell, Tyngsboro...I was just amazed at the limited people skills and honorable salesmanship. And by the by I scraped off the MacMulkin lettering on the back of the car and threw the license plate frame in the trash. I don't want to advertise for anybody who can't just be helpful human beings. More
Mark did such a great job with all his knowledge of the car and the way he handled me with no pressure approach it was a pleasure dealing with him. In the past I had bad experiences with other dealerships. car and the way he handled me with no pressure approach it was a pleasure dealing with him. In the past I had bad experiences with other dealerships. I probably would buy another vehicle and hoping Mark will be there in the future. He is a big asset to MacMukin Chevrolet they are lucky to have him. More
I looked at and test drove a vehicle. I liked the vehicle but had certain numbers to hit. The salesperson got close to the numbers but not close enough. When I said that wouldn't work, he rolled his eyes and but had certain numbers to hit. The salesperson got close to the numbers but not close enough. When I said that wouldn't work, he rolled his eyes and said, REALLY, it's only $30 more per month. Well $30 per month is a lot of money and even though I could've afforded it, I needed to discuss it with my wife. It's not like he said $10 more than my budget. Other than that the dealership was decent to deal with and have called me a few times to see if they could help me find the vehicle that I was looking for. I would definitely recommend this dealership. More
We had a excellent experience buying a 2012 Chevy Volt from Mark Makarewicz at the MacMulkin dealership in Nashua. The Chevy Volt is a complex piece of engineering, but Mark had the knowledge we needed to from Mark Makarewicz at the MacMulkin dealership in Nashua. The Chevy Volt is a complex piece of engineering, but Mark had the knowledge we needed to make a good purchase decision, unlike the saleman at another dealership that just tried to push the product. Mark understands how the car works and gave us a two hour tutorial after we purchased--so much better than having to read through the owners manual! We highly recommend the Chevy Volt. Handling and performance is supreme and we are saving so much in gasoline. Buying the super-fast charger is a good deal, because you will be visiting the gas station even less! We are saving hundreds of dollars in gasoline each month. This luxury sports car will save you money in the long run. More
I was searching for a used Z06 for about a year when I came across MacMulkins website, I called and was put in contact with Tom jr,I told him what I was searching for and my price range. Within a couple o came across MacMulkins website, I called and was put in contact with Tom jr,I told him what I was searching for and my price range. Within a couple of weeks he returned my call, he found the color I was looking for with VERY low mileage and it was in my price range,he had the car shipped and looked over at his dealership without asking for a deposit, He was honest with the cars flaws (which was hardly mentioning) I drove up from Staten Island, NY and met with Tom jr, He showed around around the dealership then brought me to my car. It and was exactly how he had described it. I was very happy with the car, the price was what the car is valued at, I didn't get the deal of a life but hey it was in my price range. overall I had a very good experience with MacMulkin and Tom jr. If i had to make a complaint it would be, after a 4 hour drive an offer for a cup of coffee would have helped :) More
I HAVE TO SAY I AM EXTREMLEY SURPRISED I BOUGHT A CAR TODAY. I TOLD MARK MY SALESMAN THAT I WAS NOT GOING TO BUY A CAR. WELL I WAS WRONG, ALL MY PRECONCIEVED NOTIONS WENT OUT THE WINDOW, ACTUALLY FEEL BA TODAY. I TOLD MARK MY SALESMAN THAT I WAS NOT GOING TO BUY A CAR. WELL I WAS WRONG, ALL MY PRECONCIEVED NOTIONS WENT OUT THE WINDOW, ACTUALLY FEEL BAD ABOUT HAVING NEGATIVE THOUGHTS ABOUT BUYING A VEHICLE. MARK MADE IT SEEM LIKE I WAS A GEUST AT MACMULKIN CHEVROLET CADILLAC, WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO ACCOMODATE MY APPREHENSION AND FEELING OF BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. WE TEST DROVE A VOLT, THE NEW ELECTRIC CAR. I AM BLOWN AWAY WITH THE TECHNOLOGY AND REFINEMENT OF THE CAR. WHAT A HOME RUN!!! WE CAME BACK FROM THE TEST DRIVE AND MARK ASKED IF I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE IT HOME TODAY. I WANTED TO SAY NO AND I WANT TO THINK ABOUT IT! HOWEVER MARK DID SUCH A WONDERFUL JOB, WITH ALL HIS KNOWLEDGE OF THE CAR AND THE WAY HE HANDLED ME WITH NO PRESSURE APPROACH. I HEARD MYSELF SAYING YES I WANT TO TAKE THIS VOLT HOME TODAY! I WANT TO THANK, MARK AND THE MANAGER, MARKUS FOR GOING ABOVE AND BEYOND IN MAKING MY DECISION, THE RIGHT DECISION. More
Was very unhappy when I walked in MacMulkins showroom with my son to buy him a CTS-V to replace the new easclade I bought him (to match mine)last year when he got his license and was told we were not all with my son to buy him a CTS-V to replace the new easclade I bought him (to match mine)last year when he got his license and was told we were not allowed to test drive one until we agreed to buy it and were approved credit wise. I did not need financing as I had my checkbook in my pocket and was prepared to write one for the full amount of the sale. What a great graduation gift they could have sold him. I purchased him a beutiful black sedan V the next morning at Banks. More
I have been to this dealer twice. The first time I was looking for a used Blazer, I found one that I though I would like, they told me to put down a deposit as there had been a lot of interest in this par looking for a used Blazer, I found one that I though I would like, they told me to put down a deposit as there had been a lot of interest in this particular truck. I did, ended up buying elsewhere and it took 2 months to get my deposit back. To add insult to injury, this truck that everyone was SO interested in was still on the lot 6 months later. My second experience was brief, I wanted to see a new trailblazer. M wife and I went in, wandered around a bit, checked out the Caddy's, asked the receptionist where the trailblazers would be, she said upstairs. We went through the corvettes, made it to the SUVs, then went back downstairs. It was at this point a salesman said hello, do you have a quick question? I asked him about trailblazers, he said that used had some, and left. This was on a weekday when it was slow. I saw salesmen gathered and shooting the breeze, but no one could take 10 minutes and say a proper hello and answer a question. More
I have 2008 Escalade and went back to Dealer I purchased from with a warrenty complaint on transmission and stated no problem. As that dealer is no longer in business on a recall brought to MacMulkin and from with a warrenty complaint on transmission and stated no problem. I just wanted to take the opportunity to express both mine and my wife's gratitude for the friendliest and most professional manner you regarding Bj. I just wanted to take the opportunity to express both mine and my wife's gratitude for the friendliest and most professional manner your dealership extended to us. I have worked with Bj and found him to be nothing but professional, informed, supportive and encouraging. I have to admit that purchasing a car at MacMulkin with sales professionals such as yours was one of the most gratifying experiences I have had. Bj handled my deal with care and was very courteous to my family as we toiled over the decision to purchase the car. I want to thank Bj for the deal I received and for the service he provided. He was outstanding. Overall it was a great experience from the moment we walked into the dealership we were welcomed and treated with a great deal of professionalism and respect. Thanks Bj! Keep up the great work! More
