He asked me up front how much I wanted for my trade, and what I expected my payments to be like which I liked because it saved a lot of the standard back and forth over prices. He actually beat the payments I asked for by $60 a month! It felt like buying a car from a friend. The finance guy Jeff was awesome too. Not pushy at all and found us a lower interest rate than the one we were pre approved for. More

This seems to be a step change in the process of finalizing deals that i have seen on the last two deals i have made on new cars in the last several months. In the past, details like this were part of the negotiating process prior to coming to an agreement on final terms and going back to the finance office to seal the deal.
