Spend $63K On A F150, Get No Loaner For Recall Took my F150 to Mac Haik as a result of two manufacture recalls that were announced simultaneously. After spending $63K for the truck at this dealer, Took my F150 to Mac Haik as a result of two manufacture recalls that were announced simultaneously. After spending $63K for the truck at this dealer, one would assume if it had to go back because of a manufacture defect that took all day to repair, someone would be offering a loaner. In my case, the truck had two recall notices. Not everyone has two vehicles, so when I inquired about a loaner, I was told "We don't do loaners." So what am I suppose to do without a car, I asked? "We don't do loaners, so you'll have to rent a car." The service guy followed that up with, our shuttle driver can take you home. OK, so when I return with my rental car to pick up my truck, how do I get the rental car back to the rental agency. Total confusion because Mac Haik does not do loaners when they have to keep my car for a FORD manufacturing defect. This dealership will never see another $63K from me. More
