After having my Jeep a little over a year, an unexplained issue caused metal shavings throughout my engine. I was told in October I needed the whole engine replaced. It took several months for the engine to issue caused metal shavings throughout my engine. I was told in October I needed the whole engine replaced. It took several months for the engine to arrive and several more weeks to get it put in. Over the course of nearly 6 months my Jeep was in the shop, there was no communication unless I reached out. I would be given a date or timeline and reach out to confirm it was in schedule only to be told it the date pushed back. This happened while waiting for the engine to arrive and while waiting for it to be out in. My service advisor told me he was doing the best he could but was doing the work of three service advisors. He was always cordial and polite, but communication from him regarding updates or changes was non-existent. When my Jeep was finally ready (March), there was no service advisor to be seen. I was handed papers by the clerk and she told me my Jeep should be outside. After nearly 6 months, I expected an update especially because I told him I was coming. After I got my Jeep home, I noticed my grill lights and fog lights were not working. I looked and found they were not connected. A short time after, I heard loud wind noise around my front wheel. I looked and found the undercarriage was not reconnected in several spots, making it loose enough my tire was hitting it. I looked around the other wheels and found the same. There were several connectors broken off in the holes (at least 3-4 under each wheel carriage) which were left broken without replacing them. I am shocked this is the Mac Haik standard. I understand working short and being behind, but you don’t sacrifice quality. I am very disappointed. I have since replaced the underpins myself. More
