So happy to be back! I worked with Pete when I purchased my first Mini Cooper Clubman (preowned) a few years back. He was great to work with, personable, friendly - I felt I worked with Pete when I purchased my first Mini Cooper Clubman (preowned) a few years back. He was great to work with, personable, friendly - I felt he was honest and real, which was very reassuring when making the purchase. Due to some unexpected life events, I needed to sell that car a year or two later and had to get a different/bigger car altogether...but I could not wait to get back into a Mini. Fast forward three years and I found myself On Otto's website, saw Pete was still there and stopped by on my way home from work. Allegedly just to browse haha. It had been four or five years since I bought my first mini and yet Pete knew exactly who I was as soon as I walked into the showroom. A week after that, I drove off the lot in a brand new Mini Cooper Clubman S All 4 and I LOVE it. My two best car buying experiences were both with Pete at Otto's - he is meticulous. From making sure the car was perfect before I even saw it, sitting with me to go over the technology in the car and then emailing the very next day and checking in to see if I had questions. When I did, he got back to me right away. I am very happy with my overall experience and I highly recommend Pete and Otto's. :) More

Poor start, nice enough finish I've had my Mini Countryman serviced at Otto's since buying it in early 2015. This was the first time I was unhappy with the service experience. Maybe I've had my Mini Countryman serviced at Otto's since buying it in early 2015. This was the first time I was unhappy with the service experience. Maybe it's not an accident that it coincides with my first service visit to the new location in WC. It started with a very confusing list of recommendations that I had to approve / decline. First, I had to approve or decline the loaner which I had already driven home. (???) First time for that one. Then it stated they corrected the erroneous front tire pressure warning indicator even though I needed new front tires. (Why do I have to approve that and why is that even on the list?) Then it says they couldn't find my registration and insurance in the car. But the very first thing that happened on my arrival is that I was greeted by a young woman who asked for both. I handed them to her and she went away and came back after a few minutes, presumably having copied them. By that time my car had been moved from the staging area. It was VERY inconvenient to have to scan them and create a password-protected PDF and email that so they could proceed with the work... knowing, as I did, that the copy was probably sitting on a desk in the office. This was the first time I didn't find Preston to be friendly. He did not apologize for the inconvenience. He did not say, "Wait a minute. Let me ask someone." Later on when I arrived to pick up the car he was friendly, however. And I am once again happy with the service they performed. But this was definitely not a smooth service visit and it left me with a bad feeling. More
