MINI of West Chester formlerly Otto's Mini has a fabulous and knowledgeable staff member in Michael Dixon. Last year, around June, I brought my Mini Countryman in for inspection and was quoted a significant amount for repairs, which unfortunately I was unable to afford at the time. Fast forward to March 19, 2024, I reached out to schedule the most critical repairs for my vehicle. Upon calling the dealership, I was directed to Preston's voicemail. After several attempts, I finally reached him, only to be informed that he was busy with another customer and would call me back. Despite waiting patiently for over a day and a half, I did not receive any follow-up. Upon my insistence, Preston eventually contacted me and we discussed the repairs, although I found his communication unclear and confusing. I requested that my boyfriend speak with him for further clarification, and provided Preston with his contact information for a scheduled call the following day after 2 o'clock. Unfortunately, Preston failed to reach out as promised, leading to further frustration on my end. Today, I made the decision not to proceed with repairing my car at your shop due to this disappointing experience. I understand that providing a detailed account may seem lengthy, but I believe it's essential to convey the full extent of my experience for future improvements. Michael was fine as a salesperson, very helpful and efficient on this out-of-state purchase. He seemed a bit rushed when it came time for reviewing the vehicles functions and features though. I was impressed with the dealer's ability to process my state's taxes and licensing transfer... although there was a significant upcharge for the service. The primary hit on the ratings is due to the condition of the car on pickup. Apparently three-days' notice was not enough for the dealer to give the car a proper detailing. The detailer had more wax on the black plastic trim work than on the paint. Further the detailer did not bother to remove any of the hard water marks from either the paint or the windows...appears the new car was sitting outside for some time. More
