Bait and switch to hide high prices for repairs: Unpleasant I'm a bit bummed out about how the process went. I think they bait and switch prices and use the same kinds of techniques sales people use to bamboozle me into feeling okay about paying too much for repairs. Dropped off the car with an initial estimate of around $4K. Service people were communicative but after three days of back and forth to get a firm estimate they came back with a quote of $4,500 to replace a clutch and flywheel in a 2006 mini and another $4,000 to replace a strut and CV joint. I looked online and found other stations with better reviews quoting half that. Getting the quote was a bit unpleasant because it took 4 days of phoning back and forth with the service guy, although polite, telling me he would have to go back to his manager to get permission. It kind of felt like the run around one gets when buying a car. The same kind of psychological hazing where they tell you a higher price and then come back to you with a slightly lower one and expect you to be happy. However, the final quote was still thousands more than other repair places quoted so I took my car back. When paying the fees for the small amount of work they did, the cashier sounded polite, said the right things, but tone and body language were angry and negative. I noticed that on some reviews on other platforms have follow up comments from the dealerships management, but what they do is offer to speak with you on the phone but they don't address poor behavior or complaints directly in the on-line forum. It's a marketing technique that makes it seem like they care but I suspect they don't. More
They treat us rude Although I know ask them refund unuse extended care is difficult never imagined they can asked customer leave and throwing documents on the table rude Although I know ask them refund unuse extended care is difficult never imagined they can asked customer leave and throwing documents on the table rudely! Also they are used to call police come let you leave! Just because you already own a mini and one person will not have more mini in his wholelife. So they can treat you in bad attitude. The sales manager just like a rogue if he can’t get any benefit from you! what’s is true we will not have a mini cooper again they really get extra money they want but they lost basic human nature we wish them use the money they get happy. They are losers! I just hope everyone who want go here buy any car just don’t buy any extra programs not only for waste money also for their Sick attitude!I took a video how their finances manager’s treat us but I don’t want to make trouble for him because this is his job. I wish he is happy with his job. And don’t treat your customer like today again although you can’t get any money from them. More
Avoid at all costs. I would give 0 stars if it was possible. Avoid doing business with MINI of Stevens Creek at all costs. My experience with buying a car from MINI of I would give 0 stars if it was possible. Avoid doing business with MINI of Stevens Creek at all costs. My experience with buying a car from MINI of Stevens Creek was a trifecta of utter incompetence, horrible service, and highly questionable business practices. During the purchase, the salesman tried to sell me unneccesary additional warranties and insurance, which is annoying, but to be expected I suppose. However, after I declined right away, the salesman proceeded to launch into a 30 minute sales pitch, while holding the purchase agreement hostage. No amount of "I'm not interested" made a difference, and what should have been a straightforward transaction turned into a torturous experience. Additionally, the car was missing features that it was advertised with (related to the car's multimedia system). This is plain and simple false advertising, and a criminal offense. They did an inspection and attempted fix the multimedia system in their service department, but were not able to accomplish anything. After taking the car to a third-party service station, the issue was fixed, showing the incompetence of MINI of Stevens Creek. But their incompetence did not end there. As expected from any car dealership, the sale included handling of the registration with the DMV. After not receiving the registration and stickers for several months, I inquired about the delay at MINI of Stevens Creek, but the only response I received from the completely apathetic customer service was that these delays are common, that I should wait, and that they'll be in touch. Nothing happened for *six months*. I ended up doing everything myself and got my tags and registration within days. It turned out that MINI of Stevens Creek simply *did not do anything*. Despite this being an extremely basic and fundamental aspect of any car sale, and it was explicitly agreed upon when I bought the car. To reiterate: I strongly advise anyone reading this to avoid doing any kind of business with MINI of Stevens Creek at all possible costs. Whether it is for sales or service. Take your money elsewhere. More

Would never go back or recommend The test drive and start of the paperwork went great. When it came time to sign the contract and drive home the problems began. The sales manager t The test drive and start of the paperwork went great. When it came time to sign the contract and drive home the problems began. The sales manager told us that even though we brought our own financing, we are required to apply for in house financing. After failing to fully explain why this was the case my wife and I made it clear that we were not applying for additional financing. At this point every interaction became hostile. Next the paperwork that needed to be submitted to my bank was delayed. When I asked why it was not sent the reply was "well we were super busy". Next they claim that the paperwork was sent but per my bank they have not. Lord knows when I will get my vehicle. Now I have attempted to speak to different departments for a status update. Phones are unanswered, messages go unanswered and emails go unreplied. Best of luck to any poor soul who chooses to do business with autonation or Mini of Stevens Creek. More

The service took all day, but did not perform all of the Mini recommended service and cost nearly $600. But what really rankles is that they claimed to wash the car but it came home dirtier than when it left. This is a very expensive service option for anything routine. You can find independent automotive service shops that will do the same work for less, in less time without the arrogance. More
