Bought two oem fobs for my R60 all keys lost, received new fobs and they would not activate. There had been no issues with vehicle other than lost fob. When keys would not activate I was told to come in f new fobs and they would not activate. There had been no issues with vehicle other than lost fob. When keys would not activate I was told to come in for service to activate. This turned into an episode of finding fault in the car and not the purchased item. I was charged to find out that the car “might have a failed CAS” to diagnose and replace if faulty 3000.00+. I had already spent 1000.00 for two new fobs that did not work. If I committed to the diagnosis they were not going to credit me the 1000.00 I had already spent at parts. Wow. I deferred and have removed the cas myself and will know soon through a third party if the cas is faulty. If it is. The company will repair and sync the devices for under 500.00. I am very disappointed. No one wanted to accept responsibility. More
