Just a note to confirm that I will be bringing the MINI in to Prestige this Saturday at 8:30AM to see why the check engine light is on all the time. It may be related to what appears to be a very sensitive gas pedal - sometimes the car hesitates and sometimes it lurches forward when the pedal is pushed. Or maybe that's just the way a turbo engine works?? I hope to meet you there and would love to discuss the history of why the car was sitting there, in service for more than a year with only 500 miles. The check engine light had to have been on that whole time - at least that's my guess. I would also love to know if Mr. Singer is your employee and in charge of the prep department as he represented himself to me when he called me. I hope to pick up the correct manual for the car as well. I see that my review was published in DealerRater, although I was under the impression it was on hold until I reported that the issue was resolved or not. I will be happy to submit an update to them once everything is taken care of. See you Saturday, Bill Tretter
