Wife was given an repair estimate at 1638 on 7/5/22 of following charges, she knew immediately that the brake charge was incredibly inflated and declined. Car has never been wrecked nor raced and it is very unlikely that motor mounts fail on 2 year old cars. Here is the repair estimate received 7/5/22 at 1638: Oil change $112.00 Brake Flush $130.00 Vehicle Check CBS $170.00 Maintenance: $100.00 Value Line Front Pad: $100.00 Front Pads and Sensor: $426.41 Rear Pads and Sensor: $373.21 Tire Rotation $30.00 Motor Mount: $1095.28 On their department opening 7/6/22 at 0815, 0830, and 1000, service department, service advisor and service manager were informed via phone (messages left since no one answered the phone other than main operator) not to do any of the services listed. At 1045, service advisor called and said all work was already done or would be finished by noon, except brakes which we initially told them not to do due to outrageous cost. Received the final bill for $1794.63. They charged 6 hours for motor mount, although supposedly they started all services at 0800. Service manager stated that it is common for motor mounts to go out on 2020 Mini Coopers although a TSB does not exist for repair, nor is it covered under warranty. To quote he said “It was probably broken for a while” The service advisor scared my wife by showing her a picture of something broken and saying that her engine may fall out. I replaced the brake and sensors after getting the car for $129.63 in under 2 hours. The service department charged 6 hours for motor mount replacement and only information I found online regarding motor mounts failing on different Mini forums was one about it being a scam some dealerships use. I did notice that the tray that has to be removed to access the brake fluid was still full of leaves. The tires that look to be in the same spot as when it was dropped off, there are discernible small wheel scuffs on two of the wheels. When cranking the car later the same day, the battery was dead. I replaced the battery and had the old one tested at BattiersPlus, less than 269 out of 800 CCA, 12.57v. When I returned the core to the dealership, since that is the only place that carries that battery, I was told that with AGM you can not check them outside of a vehicle, which is also not true. I escalated in the chain of command after speaking with the Service Manager to the General Manager, who called back the next day after our conversation too say he would offer me $275, but would not investigate any further. I refused out of principle and he stated he would have the head of customer service call me. After a couple days, she called and seemed irritated that I was questioning if any of the work had been done and whether there is any accountability with honesty in their organization. I did suggest that if they cover the motor mount that I would disappear and not write reviews nor frequent their dealership. At the end of the conversation she stated that she would not offer anything and would consult their attorneys as I questioned the honesty and the character of their employees. Today she called back, did not mention the conversation with their attorneys but instead said that she would only refund $275. I am not sure where they calculated $ 275.00, but I think they know that they made many errors and are trying to buy my silence. Final Bill total from Mini of Pensacola: Value Oil Service: $112.36 Brake Flush: $133.58 (although we declined all brake service) Vehicle Service Check: $170.00 Replace Engine Air Filter: $103.20 Broken Motor Mount: $1095.28 Rotate Tires: $30.00 Battery: $292.07 (not sure why they did not check the battery as part of their service check) You can decide if you want to take your vehicle here for service, I can provide copies of all receipts as well as documentation of phone calls. More

The sales rep took his time with us and did not make us feel pressured into buying the mini over the BMW. I got a fair price for my trade-in and the used BMW that I decided to go with. Two and a half short years later I needed a new battery. My new local Mini dealership in NC sold me the CORRECT one and my out-the-door price was less than HALF of what I paid at Mini of Pensacola. I’m not sure why there was such a huge price difference between two dealerships and why I paid MORE for a smaller less cranking amp battery. I called and spoke with someone in Pensacola about it and I got zero apologies or answers. I was told that “according to a chart” back when I bought the battery, it was the correct one. I drive a 10 year old Mini. Why is there any question as to which is the correct battery? I asked my local dealership what chart they might have been referring to and they laughed! They had no clue and told me I had been lied to. I can’t help but wonder what other mess Mini of Pensacola created for me. I’ve been fixing things they’ve supposedly already fixed before... To make things worse, I wrote a letter to the service manager, Ms. Cathy Haley back in November of 2018. It is now Feb 2019 and I have YET to be contacted with answers to my questions. This is disgraceful service. More

He didn’t miss a thing, all the bells and whistles he showed me like it was his. I was blown away with the knowledge he had about the car. He made the test drive pleasant and continued to explain the features. When the test drive was over, and all was explained, I proceeded to tell Ben that I wanted this vehicle, but, I couldn’t stay to finish the sale due to work. When Ben told me that he was off the next day, I told him I would wait till he worked again to finish the sale. That’s because I wanted to finish with Ben. He was fantastic and I was willing to wait. I would definitely buy from Ben again and recommend him to anyone else who visits this dealership. More
