I was looking for a new car, and was considering a Mini Cooper. So I called up Mini of Manhattan, and was lucky enough to be connected on the phone with Alexander Sasha Lezhen. He told me that the car I had seen advertised online, a cute blue 10th Anniversary Edition, was still available. So I hopped a cab, arriving there at 4 p.m., and Sasha has me test drive that car--my first experience driving a Mini. It was surprisingly comfortable, and I loved how the car handled, zipping up the West Side Highway. So right then and there, an hour later, I decided to buy it. Sasha sold it to me at a great price; I came by the next day to pick it up after Sasha made sure that it was fully detailed and sparklingly shiny. Sasha spent about an hour and a half showing me every feature and control of the car, from front to back--and even took the time to get me signed on to my Sirius satellite radio subscription and to enter my favorite stations on the pre-sets. I drove the car home, and Sasha called me that evening to make sure that I was happy. Sasha is a great guy--friendly, not pushy, truly helpful. Buying the car was not the agonizing experience I had expected, but a truly fun and memorable one. I'll be sure to return there and to ask for Sasha, whenever I may be ready to purchase another car!
