I have a prepaid service plan. Over the last couple of years I haven't driven much, especially after the pandemic hit. Truthfully, MINI has had to prod me a bit to get the necessary service done. As a “drop-in” with an ongoing problem I was taken in for what turned out to be extensive repairs on my Mini. The service department-particularly Dawn in this case- was incredibly helpful.
