Always Wanting to Help I have been having my Mini's (on my third now) serviced at Mini of Fairfield since 2009 and am extremely happy with the service department. Since I wo I have been having my Mini's (on my third now) serviced at Mini of Fairfield since 2009 and am extremely happy with the service department. Since I would describe myself as being "very fussy" with my cars, Mini of Fairfield's service department has never disappointed. Steve Parrett (service manager), John Corcoran (service advisor) and Peter Reed (service advisor) have always exceeded my very high expectations. During my most recent visit to the service department, Steve facilitated a warranty replacement of a small exterior part that had a blemish on it. Steve thanks so much for making that happen quickly and Peter I appreciate you taking care of everything the day of the replacement (I too appreciate you keeping me fully informed of the status of the work). John thanks again for always being there since my first Mini (you need to call me "Rob"!!!!!!) :) Although I am writing this review about my most recent service experience, I want to too thank Antonio Silva (salesperson) who has worked very hard (tirelessly) over the years to put me in exactly the Mini that I wished for. I would highly recommend seeing Antonio - a truly nice guy. More
Thank God for Service Manager I have owned many MINI's and BMW's, and have never experienced the excellent customer service provided by Stephen Pharrett. I arrived a bit rushed and I have owned many MINI's and BMW's, and have never experienced the excellent customer service provided by Stephen Pharrett. I arrived a bit rushed and late for my appointment, and much to my chagrin couldn't find my wallet. I never would have thought this was possible, and racked my brain and searched my clothing and car multiple times. I finally accepted that I must have left it at home. After getting a ride home and not finding the wallet, I called Stephen in a panic, asking if he could look in the parking area as well as the entire service department. he called me back a short time later, having gone back to the work area and looked closer in the car than even I did. It was only after noting a subtle change in the way the seat moved did he realize that my jet black miniature wallet was stuck in the seat mechanism. I will be forever grateful for his kindness and attention to detail and complete followthrough shown to me on that very stressful day. More

Exceptional Dealership I purchased my 2012 MINI Cooper Countryman ALL4 from MINI of Fairfield County in December 2011. The experience was wonderful and the salesman Fabrizio I purchased my 2012 MINI Cooper Countryman ALL4 from MINI of Fairfield County in December 2011. The experience was wonderful and the salesman Fabrizio Reda was attentive, knowledgable and answered every question I had. No pressure, no quick talking, just open & honest answers. He made buying a car a unique and enjoyable exerience. Mike Grassi (General Sales Manager) always stops by and says hello when I'm in for service and that to me is rare. Previous dealership sales departments that I have purchased cars from are there for one thing only; to sell a car and their interaction with you after the car purchase is lmited. That is not the case at MINI of Fairfield! The service department managed by Steve Parrett welcomes you by name and with a smile when you enter. They are courteous, professional and make you feel as if you are the only when that matters. They never rush you, explain all repairs and services rendered thoroughly and make sure that you are satisfied before you leave the dealership. The technicians are known to 'come up front' and speak to the customers about repairs or to ask questions about a potential repair so they can understand what you may be experiencing. That's customer service! I have complete trust and confidence in the MINI of Fairfield team. They treat you like family and go above and beyond not only to meet but exceed the customers needs. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone who is interested in purchasing a car from the MINI family. 5 STARS all the way! More
Second to NONE!!! I've been a customer at the "Mini of Fairfield county" dealership for over 5 years owning 3 MiNis and it gives me great pleasure to write this review I've been a customer at the "Mini of Fairfield county" dealership for over 5 years owning 3 MiNis and it gives me great pleasure to write this review since I think the "Thank you" I always give them at the service center is not enough for what I get. I want to do more for all the great service and help I've gotten from them so here it goes! Everyone that I've dealt with at the service department has ALWAYS been incredibly courteous, helpful and informed. I'm ALWAYS greeted with a smile and great attitudes by the crew and even newly hired employees as well. Whenever I've had any questions or issues with my car they were patient and took the time to make sure I understood everything I needed to. Some of the techs have even taken the time off the clock to answer questions I've had about my car. John and Stephen along with their service crew are true professionals!! If I ever decide to no longer drive MiNis and switch, I will TRULY MISS how the service department ALWAYS makes me feel at home and taken care of when I need to service my MiNi! Thank you again Guys, it's ALWAYS a pleasure!! Ohhh, and lastly (but most certainly not least) I would also like to mention Antonio Silva of the sales department whom I bought all my MiNis from. I can't even call him a "Car Salesman" because he truly isn't , he's more of a "Vehicle concierge"! I've NEVER dealt with a more professional and organized person when buying a car EVER in my life and I've bought many cars!!!! If I could only describe him using one word it would be "Meticulous"! He NEVER made me feel like I was dealing with a "Car Salesman" EVER!! We all know how hard that is and he does it with style!! A true professional gentleman! Thanks again guys!! Sebastian More

The sales process was smooth, the price fair, and my salesman Antonio Silva was helpful and one of the best car salesman I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He is a true professional. I was happy with my purchase, and things were going well. Shortly after I took delivery of the car, the airbag light came on, and I had to return the car to get that problem fixed. This is where things really went sour with this dealership. While the sales dept has their crap together, the service dept was the complete opposite. They are VERY disorganized, and don't call back when they say they are going to. The receptionist Barbara is one of the most unhelpful people out there- I really have no idea why she's there. One time I brought my MINI in to service because I observed the dash lights were dimming. I thought this was a problem with the electrical system. Well, service had my car for 2 days, and it turns out that this was a feature built in; it was supposed to do that. I'm sorry but I find it unacceptable that it took that long to tell me that there was nothing wrong with the car- I can get better information by Googling the issue. At least I know for next time. ^ As a result of this, I was issued a service coupon that said 75% off any service. I accepted it, and kept it at home, hoping to use it for a large service bill. Turns out, that there was a clerical error in writing that ticket- it really was $75.00 off, and NOT 75%. Honest mistake, but you can see my disappointment when I went to redeem for 75%, and they said it was only $75.00. I'm not being ungrateful, but these cars are so expensive to fix, $75.00 doesn't really cover anything. Barely an oil change. Fast forward a year or so. On a Tuesday afternoon, my MINI broke down, and I had to call AAA to have it towed to service. I called Service to let them know I was on my way. Barbara answered, and kept me on hold for an unacceptable amount of time. When I arrived at Service, they didn't have any loaner cars, so I had to get a ride back to Stamford. Not a huge deal, but it's not the first time they've been out of loaners. This breakdown really was the last straw with my MINI. I ended up selling it, taking a $5,000 loss, and buying a Ford Fusion instead. Perhaps the worst part of all this, was that the service dept didn't care about the numerous problems I was having with the car (more than what was listed in this review). Nobody ever apologized or said, "gee Mr Hirst, we're sorry you're having all these problems with your MINI that you've only had for a year and a half." It was just excuse after excuse. Look, I get that you're all stewards of the MINI brand, and therefore you really can't say anything, but man up and take responsibility for the product you're dealing with. I called MINI/BMW corporate, and finally a representative from the company apologized to me for all the BS I've had to endure, including the rigmarole at Service for a year and a half. After this long roller coaster ride, It is of my own personal OPINION that nobody should buy a MINI, EVER. They are crappy made cars that need constant babysitting, and will suck every last dollar out of you until you are out on the street. And that's the best way I can put it, because my review most likely won't be approved for posting if I used the colorful language more congruent with how I truly feel. As for MINI of Fairfield County, I can't recommend this dealership, because I can't recommend anyone purchase a MINI; new OR used; doesn't matter, the problems begin before the car is even broken in. I'm someone who believes in attacking a problem at the source; and in this case, maybe the service dept wouldn't have issues dealing with irate customers like myself IF THE CARS ACTUALLY PERFORMED AS THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO.. instead of being in the shop more than being driven. Perhaps your service personnel should visit a Mercedes Benz dealership.. you might take some lessons on the "gold standard" of customer service. I will never buy another MINI, and I will talk to every stranger I see that owns one and suggest to them they sell their car. They're not worth anyone's time, or money. And, if anyone from service still believes that MINI makes good cars, then you are all delusional. Stop being so robotic and regurgitating what corporate has told you to, and think for yourselves. But hey, everyone's entitled to their opinion, right? More
They sent out my Mini Cooper Clubman S today 11/22/2013 (which has been at the dealership since late July) after doing a $4066.00 valve job on it with a BROKEN HOSE. Got about five minutes down I-95 and h (which has been at the dealership since late July) after doing a $4066.00 valve job on it with a BROKEN HOSE. Got about five minutes down I-95 and had smoke pouring out of the hood and no fluids in the radiator. Their response when I called. . . "well, where do you think the water went and what do you want me to do" in a sneering tone not to be believed. Nothing about trying to mitigate any of this (mind you, the car had another 5K worth of repairs done on it last June 2012-timing chain, etc) or apologies. Just the most dismissive, antagonistic responses imaginable. Steven needs a lesson in customer service- or a new career. This place fails on every front. No matter what happens now. . and Mini USA is stepping in at this point. . . this is not a place I would ever want anyone else to have to deal with. I might add that I did not buy the car there. More
