My wife and I are so grateful that we found our way to Collin at Nick Alexander Mini. As our dealer (or Motoring Advisor, as Mini calls them) he was professional, patient and informative. Our Mini had to contend with multiple world events that threatened to disrupt the build process and delivery timeline, but Collin was patient and helpful throughout. Buying a car can involve high emotions, especially when it’s ordered from the factory. Despite this, Collin talked us (me) down and kept us (me) level-headed. When it finally arrived at the dealer lot, Collin expedited the inspection process so we could take delivery of it at a date and time that we had available. On the day we took delivery, Collin caught that his copy of my wife’s driver license showed that it had expired a few weeks prior. That allowed her to jump online and renew it quickly, so that all was fixed in time for the pick up. Once we arrived to greet our new bundle of joy, Collin taught us all the basics of about how to drive and use the car so we (I) could confidently get it home. We will certainly reach out to Collin for our next Mini! By the way, Mini has a great app that helps you keep track of the process. Mini also will let you know the name of the vessel it gets loaded on out of England, and you can use a shipping site to track it as it creeps across the ocean. I was able to see when the ship with our Mini on it entered the Panama Canal, which in turn, allowed me to have the webcams there show us the ship doing the transit through the canal. Overall, we are still grinning ear to ear about our Mini, and Collin played a huge part in making sure the process was as painless, and indeed, as fun as possible (i.e. the giant red bow he placed on our car when it was ready).
