I’ve never had a bad experience in the 15 years I’ve been coming to Mini of Charleston for yearly checkups. Andy took good care of me, and since my mini had to spend the weekend, I was given a ride home by a coming to Mini of Charleston for yearly checkups. Andy took good care of me, and since my mini had to spend the weekend, I was given a ride home by a super guy named Zach, also a big mini fan. Everything checked out A OK. So with an oil change, some air in the tires, and a bath, my mini was good to go. More

Considering I had to bring the car back for an alignment on Monday that was supposed to have been done the previous Friday, I was not thrilled. Made an appointment one week in advance. It wasn’t until the fourth day, after I had to complain, to bring my car in the shop to start the diagnosis. Still using excuses of the pandemic. Tha It wasn’t until the fourth day, after I had to complain, to bring my car in the shop to start the diagnosis. Still using excuses of the pandemic. That’s long over and they are a OE dealship. Twenty-five days later, many delays from the dealership, including those in not responding to the warranty companies requests. $7000 later and the car still hasn’t been properly repaired. I’m only out a deductible, but their delays incurred me $1500 in rental car charges. Now I will have to fight with Mini of Charleston about properly repairing what they were supposed to do from the start. I have over 15 years experience in the automotive industry and I’ve spoken with, in excess, 500 service and parts managers. Forget the service advisors and techs. My meetings were always at a much higher level. Never saw a service shop more poorly run, or at least the experience shows than Mini of Charleston! More
