We found the same to be true with the rest of the dealer staff with whom we came in contact. So my wife and I had always wanted a MINI, but already have two SUV's which are necessary since we have a 5 month old baby. My wife contacted Mini of Allentown via their website and quickly got a response from Mike Aumann. He was extraordinarily responsive and very courteous and gave my wife plenty of useful information via email. We decided to visit the dealership on a Saturday and take a test drive, and despite all the snow we had in the Lehigh Valley, they had no issue with letting us drive a car....we actually had to go out for two separate drives, as one of us had to stay with our daughter, but Mike was very patient and didn't rush us at all. He even understood at the time that we were just considering this as an extra car, but didn't really NEED it. Many dealers would not have taken us seriously at this point, but Mike didn't seem to mind. Mini of Allentown actually didn't have any cars in stock that completely met our needs as far as options and colors, but Mike found us one at another dealership relatively close by. When we decided go go ahead with the purchase on Friday, they had the car in Allentown by Monday! Their pricing was extremely transparent....no "i have to go talk to my manager" nonsense that you experience with many car dealers, and the price was very fair. MINI was also offering 0% financing which made it even more attractive. When I went to pick the vehicle up this past Saturday, it was sitting in the showroom perfectly detailed with a fresh coat of wax. I was almost sorry to take it outside and get it dirty. It was actually one of the most comprehensive deliveries I've been through, and I've owned many cars over the past 18 years or so. Mike went over literally every option and feature the car had and made sure our phones were set up with bluetooth and that we understood how to use everything in the vehicle. He even offered to have the dealership teach my wife how to drive a stick, since this will be her first manual transmission vehicle. Oh...and one more thing....I forgot to mention that Mike was extremely knowledgable about all things MINI. He had accurate answers to all of my technical questions about the car, which is also a rarity at car dealers these days. I would HIGHLY recommend Mini of Allentown to anybody in the market for a MINI. After several bad experiences with other car dealerships over the years, it was refreshing to have a painless and friendly car buying experience! More
Somehow I ended up on the mailing list of this dealership even though I have never owned or particularly wanted a MINI. Recently my interest was stirred by an advertisement mailed to me on multiple occasion even though I have never owned or particularly wanted a MINI. Recently my interest was stirred by an advertisement mailed to me on multiple occasions promising a lease of a MINI Cooper Hardtop for payments of $229.00/month for 36 months with 0 due at signing plus a number of dealer credits and incentives. It sounded too good to be true and was!!! Upon contacting MINI of Allentown I was informed that they have no such car on their lot for that price. So why advertise relentlessly with that promise? And when I asked about the possibility of something near that price they laughed and said they couldn't do it. The small print in their own advertisement said that the #229 per month rate was based on a $21,000 model. In looking at their inventory they had a number of cars in this approximate price range. No deals on those? So why send out all these lies in the name of advertising? This isn't the first stealership I've dealt with making the same false promises but now at least I have a forum to vent my frustration. Consumer advocates should be all over these misleading business practices. More

Coming into MINI of Allentown I did not know anything about MINI Coopers. Speaking to Lauren was the best thing I could have done. I left knowledgeable and happy. I visited MINI of Allentown for service for the first time today, and my experience was fabulous. Although I’ve owned a 2005 MINI Cooper for years, I’ve always had my local mechanic work on it, becaus time today, and my experience was fabulous. Although I’ve owned a 2005 MINI Cooper for years, I’ve always had my local mechanic work on it, because it’s more convenient for me. Last week, I made an appointment because my power steering was kaput – months ago, I had received a letter from MINI explaining that they had extended my warranty coverage for that system, and I decided to bring it in to them. I spent only 1.5 hours in their funky lounge (complete with coffee, biscotti, stereo, TV, leather sofas and dog treats), while Luis took great care of me – ultimately presenting me with a $0 bill (the work was covered under warranty) and a sparkly car that had just been cleaned! He was cheerful, efficient and pleasant and deserves kudos for taking such good care of customers. I will be back, that’s for sure. They have a loyal customer now. I spent a good bit of my time in the lounge, drinking coffee and picking my next MINI’s paint colors. More
