I would strongly encourage anyone that takes their vehicle to this dealership while it is under warranty to not go to them. At about 28k I took my vehicle in for an oil change, and they advised me tha vehicle to this dealership while it is under warranty to not go to them. At about 28k I took my vehicle in for an oil change, and they advised me that one of the engine mounts had failed. They should have repaired both of them, but because it was under warranty, they only repaired ONE of them (the failed one). Fast-forward 10k miles and the next oil change and they tell me that the engine mount has failed again, and they recommend I replaced BOTH of them *THIS TIME*... how convenient, eh? Instead of doing their job the first time around while the vehicle was under warranty, they did a half xxx job and now want me to pay approximately $1,200. I don't think so. I reached out to "Mini USA" and they were no help. They say that my vehicle has too many miles on it now for them to even consider "good will" assistance (it's a 2017 with 85k on it). The engine mount initially failed at 28k and was repaired under warranty, and then by 38k at my next oil change (warranty expired), they now want me to pay to replace BOTH mounts. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. I am in communication with Channel 3's "3 on Your Side" to discuss doing a story on this shady practice. I am very disappointed in this dealerships unwillingness to do what's right even after being told what number to call to reach Mini USA to explain my situation to them which he hoped would get back to the Service Manager at their dealership to get the problem resolved correctly this time around. Avoid them if you can. I normally never take time out of my day to write reviews like this, but I think what they did to me is wrong on so many levels. More
Beware of extra fees. We recently bought out the lease on our 2019 Mini. According to the paperwork, we needed to go to a Mini dealership to complete the process. The paperwork stated that no dealer should charge any fees that are not in your lease contract. Well, Mini North Scottsdale did charge us, $642 to do the paperwork. The dealership blamed Mini financial services, and after filing a complaint with Mini, they blamed the dealership. Ultimately, we are out this money, for buying our own vehicle. We were told by the dealership, that this fee is added to every vehicle they sell, so be prepared to pay that extra fee In addition, the service department lacks communication. Our vehicle was there for a warranty battery replacement. When we picked the vehicle up, the service light was on. It was due for front brake pads. We did not receive any call, or price on the service needed. Consequently, the repair was performed at a different service center. More
I am a Washington State resident and flew into Scottsdale to purchase a Mini Cooper from Mini of North Scottsdale. I had a pretty decent experience with purchasing the Mini, however, it's been a bit of a nig to purchase a Mini Cooper from Mini of North Scottsdale. I had a pretty decent experience with purchasing the Mini, however, it's been a bit of a nightmare since the paperwork was signed. I was told by the finance manager that the dealership did not have the title on hand and that it didn't matter because it wasn't needed to register the vehicle in my state. When I visited my local licensing office, sure enough, they needed proof that the dealership actually owned the vehicle, they needed the title! When I called the finance manager to ask for the title and help getting the car register, she told me that they didn't a title for the Mini and there was nothing she could do for me. I was on my own and I needed to call Mini Financial to figure it out. I told her that other out of state dealerships that I had purchased cars from in the past had always handled the registration process. She told me that she could do it, but she would have to charge $4900 for the service! $4900!!!!!!!! I actually laughed because I was expecting her to say $49 dollars but she continued on to say forty nine HUNDRED!. So I'm basically on my own. The car has been paid for but now I am unable to actually register the car in my name. I feel like I'm living in the twilight zone. I know the car market is competitive right now but this dealership is acting in bad faith. I am starting to think that they didn't actually own the car and are struggling to retrieve the title from the previous owner. Avoid this dealer if you can. UPDATE: Management reached out to me to get my direct contact info to offer any help they could in resolving this matter. They said they take my concerns very seriously. Well.....management just forwarded my email, without any response at all to Dana, the finance consultant who has been the person refusing to help me. Thank you for this management. DO NOT BUY A USED MINI HERE!! Bought a 2015 Mini noticed an issue with window seal on the way home from the dealership. It made a very very loud wind noise. Was told they did not hear noise and i was sensit an issue with window seal on the way home from the dealership. It made a very very loud wind noise. Was told they did not hear noise and i was sensitive and a mini cooper may not be the right car for me. Mini's are small and can have a-lot of road and wind noise. When my husband came down and did a ride along with service agent he agreed there was a loud wind noise but we would have to pay to fix it. They did offer to pay half of new windshield. I was treated very poorly and cancelled the contract. I do not want to be treated like that every time I have a maintenance issue, Buyer beware there will be a blue 2015 on the lot soon. It needs a new windshield but is great if you like that window rolled down sound! GM Mike will make you feel like an idiot for buying a car from them! Finance counselor Dana is wonderful!! She gets 5 stars, Kennedy in service is sweet and wonderful too.. More
I would leave negative stars if I could. I brought my mini in to Scottsdale mini in March for factory recall thermostat which was leaking. I requested they replace the crossover water pipe when they did the thermostat. I got the car back and they stated the crossover pipe did not need to be replaced. The crossover pipe completely disintegrated at one end and was cracked at the other within 3 months of which they wanted to charge me $2200 to replace the water pump and crossover pipe. They put in a new thermostat mated to a cracked water pipe. Complete incompetence! I had a discussion with the service manager and technician and they said they do not replace parts that are not broken even if I ask for it yet they replaced a water pump pulley that was not broken. They are crooks and incompetent. I replaced the crossover pipe myself saving $2200 and knowing the job would be done correctly. I would sell my mini before bringing it back to Scottsdale Mini. More

This dealership is by far THE BEST in the United States! The Service Manager Scott Moehn was awesome! I have owned 4 Mini's over the past 16 years and this dealership gets better every year!
