I was in the market for a mercury mountaineer. After shopping around for several months I finally landed on MB's website. After several phone calls the financials were in place and we scheduled a time for pick up. The vehicle was beautiful and ready to go. The entire process was extremely pleasant. After returning to my locale longtime trusted mechanic I expected that he would find some issues. He found none! I am extremely pleased and highly recommend MB motorsports. More
Wow! What a difference at this dealership! We had enough headaches and decided to check out MB Motorsports. My wife called and shopped price with Danny after we visited their website. (The site is very well designed and informative.) She negotiated a very reasonable purchase price which we decided to investigate. She spoke about how nice it was to deal with someone who was "nice and down to Earth" during the car buying process. After we decided to check out the dealership, I went in to take a test drive and purchase the vehicle, prepared for last minute problems and hidden fees. There were none. Absolutely NONE. No outrageous doc fees, hidden internet fees, or handling fees. I was amazed: A car dealer that gave me a price and didn't try to nickel and dime me when I walked in! It was a welcome and refreshing change of pace. I dealt with John who was very friendly, offering me a cup of coffee and handing me the keys for a test drive without hesitation. His only shortcoming is that he is a Redskins fan, but I'll let him slide on that. These guys knew my price and ended up beating it by a few bucks. When did that happen the last time you bought anything, let alone a car? I wish I had shopped these guys first and avoided the headaches and hassles of the big dealerships. Thanks guys! Justin was very informative and well versed with all the car in all 3 lots. I feel that I can send any of my friends or family to Justin for sale. He was not pushy, answered all the questions and concerns, and George was a great help in getting the financing through. Justin gave me a warranty which made me feel comfortable in driving away with my new (to me) car! I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a fair deal! More

Everyone at my job laughs when asking "how's that new truck of yours". I still remember when I first test drove it and asked Justin, the sales rep, if he thought this vehicle was safe enough for me to take my wife and kids to Florida in. He said definitely. First time in the shop was to replace the warped rotors, rear ac control knob, wheel alignment and axle mount. I picked up from the shop 4 days later, they said the axle mount part didn’t come in yet from the dealership but it’s safe to drive and I can come back, another 45 miles, when the part arrives. After about 30 minutes of driving, the check engine light came on the car started to shake. I pulled into Pep Boys to run an OBD test. They said cylinder 5 is misfiring. I called Jay again. He did provide good service on this one. He told me find a mechanic, pay for the service, then he’ll reimburse me. Got that taken care of. I then drove back to MB Motorsports to fix the knocking noise when I turn the wheel because the part finally arrived. I left it there for 3 days. I came to pick it up after work, 45 miles again, but Jay and the service team were gone by then. As soon as I get in the truck and pull off, what do I hear? A KNOCKING NOISE. I called Jay and told him about it. His reply was I drove it myself and heard nothing. I took it Firestone and submitted proof of the noise. I called Jay and he said “the noise goes away after 10 minutes of driving so nothing is wrong with it”! Really Jay? It’s clear that there is still a problem there. It might be small right now, but eventually the noise will get worse and worse. The mechanic told me that the axle mount is defective, but Jay said “there’s nothing more I could do”! 2 days after that’s supposedly fixed, I hear a hissing noise coming from the engine. Come to find out the radiator was leaking. I called Jay AGAIN. He said bring it to the shop again, we’ll send them the part and pay for the service. Great idea. I brought it my local shop, they “fixed it” and gave it back to me. I decided to go to Firestone for a safety check. They informed me that the radiator is leaking again. I took it back to the local shop. MB Motorpsorts’ parts team sent a defective radiator. So the truck is back in the shop. MB sent another radiator. This time the mechanic decides to open it up to check to make sure it’s good. Nope. They sent another defective one. Their parts guy came in and looked it, didn’t understand how he could have 2 defective radiators. So finally, they sent a 3rd one. This one seems to be working. So to recap, after paying $9000 for the truck, the services needed were: -rotors replaced -rear ac controls tightened -Cylinder 5 misfiring -gas smell coming from vehicle (still never fixed) -wheel alignment and balance (still never done) -3 radiators replaced. YES 3 -axle mount worked on…(but still makes noise when turning) Do you think I bought a safe, reliable vehicle? I don’t think so. It’s clear that Jay tried. However, now, he just gave up. I asked him to reply to my emails confirming that he can’t do anything about the noise that everyone can hear. He refuses to do so. He’ll call and tell me this, but doesn’t want it documented. IT’s sad. He tried..but finally gave up. So I’m riding around with a vehicle that now makes a noise every time I turn the wheel smells like fumes and swerves from left to right while I’m driving. Thanks guys. I would’ve recommended them if they would’ve stayed in there to make sure the vehicle was fixed. But he gave up. And all the repairs that need to get done, SHOULD’VE gotten done before the vehicle was ever sold! I would not recommend this dealership. Sorry. UPDATE as of 3/28/13: I dropped the vehicle off last night at the shop. Jay called me this morning with an update. He was very detailed and specific while discussing the issues. He was very professional and informative. Jay gave me a status update on every thing i noticed that was wrong with the truck. There is one issue that he still needs to fix so I told him to keep it until it's 100%. Jay never told me that "yes, the repairs are going to be covered by MB Motorsports because i just bought the truck". However, I feel with his professionalism and moral value, he feels it's only the right thing to do. So far, so good. GO MB MOTORSPORTS. I'll update tomorrow after i receive the vehicle back. UPDATE as of 3/26/13: So, this morning I got a call from Jay at the service department to move forward with the repairs I requested through Justin. It was a quick turnaround response which was great. WIthin 24 hours of notifying Justin, i got a call to bring it in for the repairs. Now Jay didn't clearly tell me that the repairs would be covered since I just bought the truck, but I'm hoping they will be figuring the truck is 3 days old. I'll update my review again after the truck gets out of the service department. I expect to have ALL GOOD THINGS TO SAY if they're service is as good as their Sales guy was. I'll keep you posted. Wish me luck. FIRST REVIEW...3/25/13 Justin has been an excellent sales rep. He made the purchase smooth, catered to my needs even when the bank was making it difficult and kept me updated on the status of the truck. Now is when the real customer service comes in to play though. I bought the truck on Saturday. On Monday I emailed Justin about a few issues that I need fixed on the truck. Nothing major, just a few minor issues. Most car sales men can be smooth and do what's necessary to make the transaction possible. But it's how they treat you after the car is sold that means the most. If there service department is anything like there sales department, I should have no problems at all. Justin was excellent when selling the vehicle. I hope he and his staff are just as excellent in making the necessary repairs to ensure my family has a safe vehicle to travel in. More
