If you're looking to have your car serviced here, make sure you ask all pricing related questions beforehand and read anything they ask you to sign or initial VERY CAREFULLY. There is a $120 diagnost make sure you ask all pricing related questions beforehand and read anything they ask you to sign or initial VERY CAREFULLY. There is a $120 diagnostic charge even if you don't get your car repaired there. That's not the problem. The problem is that you're not always explicitly told they will run a diagnostic beforehand, but they ask you to sign something that covers them on that and they seem to run a diagnostic for EVERYTHING! I learned this after my husband took our car in several months ago for an oil change and asked about a noise we heard. The only work done was the oil change, yet we were charged $144.23. When I questioned the charge I was told it was for a diagnostic and that my husband signed for it not realizing he was authorizing this charge beforehand. He thought he was signing a service agreement or something allowing them to change the oil. Today I called them reporting that our windshield wiper wasn't properly working and asked if a charge would be given to simply look at it. I was told they might need to run a diagnostic or charge for the time it takes to figure out the problem because it could take several hours. I called another dealer and was told that if the problem could physically be seen by taking a look there was no charge... makes total sense to me! However, my husband figured it out in 10 minutes! Seems we only needed to tighten the nut at the base. I will not take my car back to this dealer because I don't trust them. I have no problem paying for a reasonable bill, but don't swindle customers into paying extra cost for unnecessary diagnostics. THAT'S BAD BUSINESS!!! It's also bad business to not clearly state what will be charged BEFOREHAND! If I can't trust that you're giving me honest business, I can't trust you with my car! More
I have been going to this dealership for a few yers now and have had more problems with my car than previous subarus that got serviced at different dealerships. A strange coincidence. On my last trip las and have had more problems with my car than previous subarus that got serviced at different dealerships. A strange coincidence. On my last trip last week, I paid hundreds for their 120K mile service, which includes servicing the battery. Two days later, my car would not start and I called AAA who told me the battery was dead. They showed me a diagnostic showing the battery voltage level before and after the new battery. Not only did Lynnes Subaru not provide any detail/reports on what they found during the service, they obviously did not bother to check the battery or clean its connections (and who knows what else they did not do). I was charged for work that was not performed, the worst of all dealership sins. I will never again go to them for service and will file a complaint with BBB, etc. And they also do not list a manager on their website - don't want to be reached. I wonder why. More
Once you buy the car, you can forget about getting good service. I called there several times for an oil change, they put you on hold and NEVER come back. After my 3rd call and holding for over 6 minutes service. I called there several times for an oil change, they put you on hold and NEVER come back. After my 3rd call and holding for over 6 minutes for the third time, I then called back again and got into an argument with the service manager. He told me they are short on help and don't have enough employee's to cover the service phones. CAN YOU imagine that? Then they have the nerve to wonder why you're so upset after you've spent all that money on a car. Horrible Customer Service.. Horrible. IF YOU DO HAVE TO GO THERE, ASK FOR ANTHONY~! HE'S THE ONY ONE WHO KNOWS WHAT HE'S DOING. More
