LONG VERSION: On January 27th 2016, I went it looking for a 2017 hyundai santa fe se... I had already test driven the car and liked the car and had recieved an offer from a dealership but because of the reviews on Edmunds as well as true car. I decided they were worth a shot. I stayed completely transparent and informed them that I was only there for a price and didn't want too much of a hassle. I already test drove the car and had an offer from another dealership. I worked with a sales rep named LT. He was friendly and seemed honest. He informed me that they were more about selling the cars than profiting on the car since they were a new dealer. After some conversations, he came back with a deal that was better than the initial deal I recieved. iHe even threw in a few perks like wear and tear as well as customization. I was sold but to prevent compulsive buying I told him I would think about it and get back to him the next day. I then went to two other dealerships who informed me that they couldn't beat the price but they would match it in addition to the perks. After sleeping on it, and considering the three dealerships, I decided on Lynnes since they gave me the best price with no hassle. Even though all the other dealerships were matching the price. Besides they were the only dealership that had the color I wanted (Red) .. January 28th 2016, I woke up early took out my down-payment from the bank and headed over to Lynnes ready to make a purchase. I was greeted by Steve who was LTs manager. Steve was very dismissive and abrupt. He brought me a write up of the price of the car which was about 2/3000 more than what I was quoted. Being a person who keeps clear written records, I informed him of the price I was quoted. Although annoyed He then redid the calculations and said he would honor the price I was quoted. I said I was ready to move forward and purchase the car. He left and returned and said the car I wanted was not in Stock and that I was quoted on a car that wasn't available. He informed me that if I waited A MONTH, the car could be shipped there but that the incentives would no longer be valid... Which means I would have to pay a different price... A much higher price.. I said ok what car of a different color do you have in Stock that I can buy, and he said none for the same price. All the cars are more expensive. I asked why would you negotiate on a car you don't even have and not inform me about this. He said that's not our policy and said rudely do you want to wait or not.. After I said not for an unknown increase from what we agreed on.. He said ok take care and rudely walked out. Do not buy from this dealer and if you do write everything down and check all the numbers!!! SHORT VERSION: I walked in to inquire about the price for a hyundai santa fe se and spoke to one sales rep (LT) and agreed upon a price and deal... Then came the next day with my deposit and the manager had increased the price by a few thousand. After I informed him that that wasn't agreed he proceeded to inform me the car was suddenly no longer available. And I would have to wait a month and the price may go up by several thousand. The Manager (Steve) was not polite at all and acted very non chalant. He behaved as if my presence bothered him. I would not recommend this dealer and if you do decide to use this dealer be very careful. Write everything down to make sure you hold them to their words. More
