Somehow I am paying for a brand new car with multiple problems which are usually rectified with an excuse and also paying for a rental car because my brand new car is sitting on their lot broken down and has been for 2 months and 1 week. I am just waiting for the storage fee bill to be mailed.I don't blame them for the lemon I bought but I do blame them for their inability to fix the problems with the car. To take the car in for brake problem and to receive a receipt back stating there is another car on the lot of the same make and model that does the same thing and then to have the brakes lock up 4 days later is crazy. Purchasing a car from them is not bad, I recommend finding another dealership for routine maintenance and warranty issues. More

She is a student at the university there and there was a problem with the transmission. I had made an appointment with Townsend over a week in advance and explained what the car was doing so they would be prepared for me since I was driving 100+ miles to get this taken care of. They apparently hadn't read my email and wanted to keep the car for 3 or 4 days because the transmission was "messin up" and they wanted to blow out the fuel system so it would get better mileage. (it got 39.4 MPG on the trip home, I'm ok with that) They made me feel like my daughter was driving a death trap. I called Lynn Layton Ford to get advice about the situation and what to do, They were very helpful on the phone and we made an appointment to have her car looked at. We traded cars and I took her little red ford to Lynn Layton. They listened to my story and assured me they would recheck everything and tell me the truth about the everything that I was told at Townsend. It all turned out to be just fine, They put my fears to rest and took the time to explain things to me. Needless to say, Lynn Layton has earned my loyalty as a customer. I am a single mom who needs the piece of mind that my daughter has a safe and reliable car while away at college. More
