I was told that the cost of a factory warranty replacement tire would be 25% of the cost of the tire. I was not told that I would be charged for all of the labor, a shop fee and all of the tax, re replacement tire would be 25% of the cost of the tire. I was not told that I would be charged for all of the labor, a shop fee and all of the tax, resulting in my paying 40% of the tire and installation. More

My experience with Lynn Layton Chevy is a combo of commercial and personal vehicles. The sales staff I worked with (Mike Burns/Keith Layton [commercial] & Stuart Tankersly/Jeff Layton [personal]) are commercial and personal vehicles. The sales staff I worked with (Mike Burns/Keith Layton [commercial] & Stuart Tankersly/Jeff Layton [personal]) are top notch! I highly recommend their expertise and ability to assist with all aspects of the vehicle purchasing experience. Once a deal is made, they firmly stand behind it. The service center needs help. Perhaps it's a good thing that they are so popular and in-demand. However, the wait times are atrocious. One of my commercial vehicles was in the service department for two solid weeks for a brake job, and the brakes still squeal to this day. I refuse to take it back for additional work because I cannot tolerate another extended amount of time without a work vehicle. A recently purchased personal vehicle needed some attention in the service department as part of the sales agreement. The initial work took over a week. When the vehicle was picked up, there was additional damage done that had to be repaired. The next stint with the service department took 27 days to complete. Granted, I was provided with a loaner vehicle during this time while the personal vehicle was being repaired according to the sales agreement. After the 27-day stint in the service department, cracked trim was discovered that was previously in good condition. The service department agreed to order the new part and will notify me when it arrives. I sincerely hope nothing else is damaged in the process... Lack of communication is my complaint. I know these guys are very busy as evidenced by the line of vehicles waiting to be checked-in to the service department each time I am there. But, I shouldn't have to call repetitively for a status update on a repair when it is past the promised date. A quick phone call to the customer would go a long way towards making the customer feel that they matter. More
