My service advisor tried hard to figure out the problem with my truck. The strike caused a large delay in my truck repair. This was made much worse by GM having the wrong part. Amber for the negative battery cable in the catalog. Lynn Layton could not find the part at a dealership. They sent me an Amazon part number from the GM catalog which was wrong. That cost me $50 in shipping to obtain the part and return the part. Lynn Layton found a part at Crown Automotive and gave them the part number. I then called and paid for the part. That was also the wrong part and Crown Automotive would not take the return because the box was opened (hard to see if you have the right part if you do not open the box). They said the would work an exchange only with Lunn Layton. Lynn Layton said they would pay the 166.17 for the part and returned the part to Lynn Layton with receipt two weeks ago. They are sending me a check though not yet received. If GM had the correct part number shown, I would have only been without my truck 1 week rather than 6 weeks. More
