Tell me how it is acceptable for a dealership to say you are not allowed to pursue or even test drive the vehicle you have been searching for because I live in a neighboring state? They are reserving their are not allowed to pursue or even test drive the vehicle you have been searching for because I live in a neighboring state? They are reserving their inventory for CT residents only. Never in my life have I heard of something like this! Does CT use a different currency than the rest of the USA these days? It is a shame too, since I am having trouble finding the exact trim and color I want. More

Was told that they charge dealer fee only and nothing else. To my suprise when was finalizing the sales individual brought up that have to pay $189/- for VIN etch, to which I disagreed. It was the same person whom i spoke on my first Saturday visit. I requested that since its an option don't need and don't charge either and response was they had been doing for over a decade (made me laugh). Too many hidden fees, so be careful even before visiting. Its not worth it, if you value your own time. More
My experience was the usual of most car dealerships. Can't be trusted. Interesting… The dealership needs to get their crap together!! I sent a message inquiring about a Vehicle, possibly 2 and was told that they are not selling out of state. You would think it should be together!! I sent a message inquiring about a Vehicle, possibly 2 and was told that they are not selling out of state. You would think it should be somewhere stated that they are not selling out of state on their website. I guess my money is not green enough for them. Be thankful that the industry is so good for you now. As everything, it will come to an end!! I am thankful I have 2 other vehicles to drive. Good luck to ya. More
My wife and I own a Rav 4 Bought from lynch when new and my wife has always insisted on having toyota people servie our vehicles. a couple of weeks ago we took it in for a service at Lynch and specifically my wife has always insisted on having toyota people servie our vehicles. a couple of weeks ago we took it in for a service at Lynch and specifically asked them to give it a full once over as it was being driven across the U.S on a 6000 mile road trip.On getting it home we first noticed there was over a quart of coolant missing as the exspansion bottle was empty. We took it back and the tech thinks he forgot to top it off after flushing it as we had asked him to do. I had aready bought some coolant and topped it off myself thats why i knew it took a quart. Then Four days later it broke down in Monument Valley Utah. We were stranded in 104F heat and AAA couldn't attend for 3 hours. Fortuanly I diagnosed it as a tired battery and had tools enought to clean the termials and cool it sufficiently to where it would just turn over the vehicle enough to start it after an hour disconnected.we then drove it to Kenab in Utah Without shutting the engine down and bought and fitted a new battery. When we got home two weeks later we checked that recent service paperwork and it specifically said they cleaned the terminals on that battery and tested its efficacy. The battery was 6 years old apperently and fithy with corroded terminals. i'll never take anything back to that service center again, they could have got us killed. More
I have a platinum bumper to bumper warranty with $100 deductible One of my sensors was out of sync and said because I had a jack in the back that is "probably" had dislodged it and it will cost me either deductible One of my sensors was out of sync and said because I had a jack in the back that is "probably" had dislodged it and it will cost me either $750 to $800 or $2,400 to $2,500 depending if it needs to be recalibrated and a sensor housing needs to be replaced or if the sensor housing needs to be replaced it as well as the sensor and that new sensor has to be calibrated well it just had to be recalibrated so the assumption not the fact that I had a jack in the back in a case that "caused" it they based on an assumption/opinion said I couldn't use my warranty so they charged me like $915 almost $1,000 just to pop it back in and recalibrate it, no sensor housing replacement needed instead of it just costing less than the $750 to $800 or honestly just being covered under warranty for $100 would have made the most sense and they would have continued to have my business, they're a ripoff and don't care about the customer at all. I've also noticed the leather armrest on the driver side of my door is all loose and gooey now you can see the fabric underneath it right in the handle area where the mood lighting is it's never been that way before. Recently purchased a used vehicle from Lynch once I got the vehicle home opened the hood found no battery hold down was installed, vehicle had the incorrect battery installed, cabin filter was full of hole the vehicle home opened the hood found no battery hold down was installed, vehicle had the incorrect battery installed, cabin filter was full of holes and mouse droppings, interior was absolutely filthy and finally was charged for a vin etch that was not done. Returned to the to the dealership the same day and they replaced the cabin filter on the spot and we made an appt to drop it off the following week for the rest of the issues including having it recleaned. Waited all day and no phone call from anyone at the dealership, finally we called them and got excuses from the sales dept. as to why no one called. Got there to pick it up found the car still absolutely filthy inside sticky spots on interior panels, stains on the seats not even vacuumed properly, my wife expressed that she was not happy with the quality of the cleaning and the salesman offered no remedy to at all in fact he said nothing. In the end I brought the car home and spent my own time and effort to properly clean the vehicle found food under and other debris the seats and floor mats like it was never even vacuumed and this was supposed to be cleaned and detailed twice? You would think spending $12k on a car they would at least put some effort into cleaning it. Will never purchase a vehicle from them again based on this experience. More
I wanted to share my recent positive experience buying a 2021 Camry Hybrid with Lynch Toyota. We stopped into the dealership to look at Camry's. I was pretty specific on what I was searching for from the 2021 Camry Hybrid with Lynch Toyota. We stopped into the dealership to look at Camry's. I was pretty specific on what I was searching for from the start. My first welcome to the dealership was from Margarita. She was an energetic sales lady that welcomed my girl and me into the showroom! Within minutes, we determined that the car I was looking for didn't have on the lot and would have to be ordered. I asked for a quote on a vehicle, and without wasting time Margarita hand wrote out a quote. The process was super transparent and direct--no runaround. This by-the-way was precisely what I was looking for! We left the dealership, and about a week later, I called Margarita and said, let's order the car. The car's pricing was transparent, and she was very open about the challenges with the current car market. She also was realistic regarding when I could expect to take delivery. Margarita was super helpful throughout the process, providing continuous updates on where things were in the process and what would happen next. Then, finally, the car came in, and she even texted me some pics of the new vehicle! It looked great! I showed up to take delivery, and Julie, finance manager, helped explain the financial options in clear, simple terms. Although I'm a bit old school--using my HP12C financial calculator--I appreciated her entertaining me while I pecked in number after number. Within minutes we had all the financials agreed and quickly signed the necessary documents. The car was registered, and the plates were added. Margarita also took time to walk me through the entire vehicle, including an overview of the trunk, spare, and locking features to the electronics inside. We even set up the next-gen Toyota app on my iPhone--which is super cool, BTW. I probably went to 5 or 6 dealers before I decided to buy a car from Margarita, who was friendly, direct, and super helpful! It was so refreshing to have such a seamless and pleasurable experience buying a car. If you're in the market for a car, stop looking around and get to Lynch Toyota. You'll be in great hands working with Margarita, Julie, and the Lynch Toyota team! More
