Dishonest service center. service manager can't do basic math, techs can't read the proper code diagnosis, shotty work. DO NOT RECOMMEND! More

Stephanie Diaz can not do basic math. Misquoted me $8900 when the actual price should have been $6700.00 She is totally incompetent! Tech gave the code for the problem BUT gave the wrong diagnosis. Said I needed (and installed) a "CRANK sensor" when the code should have been for a "CAM SHAFT SENSOR". Stephanie and Kevin Fitzgerald told me once the installed the CRANK sensor that it didn't fix the problem and that I needed a new engine! WHAT??? I took the car for a second opinion because I felt like they were being dishonest. They also said, "maybe get a second opinion." What??? You're the dealership. Took the car to Jarvis Automotive in South Windsor and Lester found the same code BUT gave me the correct diagnosis and installed a "CAM SHAFT SENSOR". This fixed the problem. Lester took pictures, wrote a testimonial for me and told me to go back to Toyota and get all my money refunded. He also noticed that when they installed the battery they failed to clean any of the corrosion on the battery tray and battery ports. Lynch Toyota's service practices are DISHONEST AND DISGUSTING! Assistant service managers who can't do BASIC math, techs who can't read codes correctly and MISDIAGNOSE problems which result in costly repairs that ARE NOT NEEDED and techs who do shotty work and take NO PRIDE in their work. This place DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMRES. All they want is $$$ for problems that do not exist. BEWARE OF THESE UNETHICAL PRACTICES AT LYNCH TOYOTA!!! Find a local, honest mechanic to give your business to and stay away from these CROOKS! I highly recommend Jarvis Automotive in South Windsor. They are a family-owned business who are fair and honest and care about their customers. Lynch Toyota is a big dealership and their main concern is the bottom line. They DO NOT CARE about their customers or the quality of their work or the competence of their employees Very disturbing and sad!

Unethical, unskilled workers, shotty work, misdiagnose problems, try to repair things that do not need repair. Poor place to do business with. STAY AWAY FROM LYNCH TOYOTA!!!
